Sleazy billing practices. Unhelpful customer service. They allow insurance companies to pay less than the billed amount, but if you're a single parent struggling to pay rent, they want the full amount and their billing department is cold hard and couldn't care less. It's either pay more than the insurance companies pay them or have your credit ruined when they send you to collections. You can't fight 'city hall'. Seems like a form of extortion to me. read more

Best Allergist in town -- Dr. Israel! You must love doctors who show that they care! Dr. Israel and his staff spent plenty of time assessing my matter and asked me many pertinent questions and made lots of poignant points. Looking forward to the follow-up appt! read more

I give this place one star I called to schedule an apt for my 4 month old daughter and the secretary Trisha was very rude, sarcastic and not pleasant to speak with. I actually had left a review that day because of how unpleasant my experience was and the next day received a phone call from Cindy who allegedly is in "charge" she called to cancel my daughters appointment and said they won't be rescheduling due to her seeing my review she said since I wasn't happy I could go else where. Took no consideration to ask why I was unhappy or about my daughter! Disgusted!!!! read more

I dislike writing negative reviews, but I must warn patients/customers. Today I took the morning off of work and pulled my child out of camp -- both substantial costs -- to attend my child's appointment. This was not a trivial cost, but my child needs to be seen and examined. Upon arrival we were told that our practitioner had not sent a referral, as he had been asked, and that because there was no referral (not our fault) we had two options. we could reschedule and have wasted our money and morning, or we could sign a form saying we agree to be held financially responsible for the visit and not have it covered by insurance. We asked if we could simply call our practitioner and have the form faxed over? We were rudely told "if it is not on the fax machine when I walk back there then you will have to either sign the form or lose your appointment -- the doctor is very busty and we cannot wait." Well, of course there is no way to have someone fax something in 30 seconds, and they would not wait even 5 minutes, and we were again told we could simply agree to pay for the visit ourselves by signing the form. Not wanting to spend 70 dollars for something that should be covered by our insurance, we had to leave. When I later called to complain about our treatment, the office manager, who was nowhere to be found when we were being dismissed and losing our appointment, said their policy is that if the referral does not arrive they ask patients to sign the form saying they will assume responsibility for payment, but that IF THE REFERRAL LATER COMES, THE PAYMENT IS CHARGED TO THE INSURANCE and nothing is charged to the customer. This was an incredible piece of information not to tell us. We were asking repeatedly if there was any way the office could wait 10-15 minutes for a referral to be faxed and were told "no." We were told the doctor is busy and we either agree to pay or change the appointment. It turns out that we could have signed the form agreeing to pay under the condition that if the referral came (which it would have in 5-10 minutes) the process would proceed as usual and the insurance would pay. So, we were treated rudely, given wrong information, gave ample time for them to tell us that the insurance would get used so long as the referral arrived in the next day (when we knew it was arriving in 5-10 minutes), and had our morning and money lost all because of their rudeness and incompetence. I stated above that I hate to write such complaints because I prefer to praise good work. And my wife and I are each educators who rely on reviews from students, and we appreciate the power and value of these reviews. Plus, many in our family work in health care and we understand the pressures. I am sure the office staff will say they explained things to us correctly and we did not understand...but our jobs are to teach and to educate and to explain things, and I sincerely doubt that the problem was our misunderstanding of the policy. Rather, we had a form shoved in our face and were in essence told: agree to pay or leave. Never were we told agree to pay, unless of course your form comes in and you will naturally then not be held responsible for payment. They were mean, rude, and wasted our time. I suggest you can find similar health care at a more considerate practitioner's office. read more

I'm sad that the only other reviewer had a negative time here when I've been coming to this office for allergy shots and appointments weekly since January and really have nothing to complain about! They have a variety of hours for allergy shots which is on a walk-in basis, a few days they start at 7 am or end at 7 or 8 pm so it helps with my busy schedule. They've always been super pleasant and easy to work with. Highly recommend this place read more

My daughter has been seen by both Dr Israel and Dr Zemble. When we first came to him she was 6months old and coughing non stop from months 4-6. They were patient with me and did not brush my observations under the rug. I was given the tools so that this year as soon as she starts to flare I use her yellow zone medications to stop it from getting to bad. read more
