The isles are a little cluttered and really require you to walk up and down them to find what you are looking for, but they do have great ranges of almost every brand of health and medicinal product you could think of. Cheap makeup from all the brand names like Revlon, L'Oreal and Maybelline and perfumes from all of Hollywood like Kardashian Kalure or Brittany's Hit Me (note: may not be the actual name of the perfumes) can also be found here at a bargain. Unfortunately, the only thing that lets this place down is that the prescription counter is incredibly slow and they have a weird system where no one mans the drop off or pick up areas, so you kind of dawdle around hoping someone is working there and has got your order. Staff are constantly stocking the isles and serving at least 2-3 check out counters so the rest of the experience is quick and efficient and worth the time if you want to save significantly on the price of your script, vitamins or beauty products.

As part of the SALA Festival I have decided to give a factory a visit. I am not much of an art person, but went I first visited this factory I was amaze at some of the creativities. The detail and the time spend to create these art works are amazing. The jam factory is divided into 4 areas; ceramics, furniture, metal and glass. As part of the SALA each area showcases some of their work to the public to see. One of my favour area is the glass studio, where you can go on a guided tour for a behind the scenes on how they make their glass work. The factory is not just a place to create great artwork but also a school to help students to learn from experiences artists. They have a 2 year cause not only teaches students the techniques of their craft but also teaches them the necessary business skills to manage their own creative practice. If you have any free time during the weekend visit the Jam Factory and be amaze at what you see.

If I'm buying a bag for 3o bucks or so, I don't expect it to last, but when I spend over a hundred I expect it to last more than a month. Unless I see something I really like and it's on special, I tend to avoid Strandbags.

I have been into a couple of the others but this one has always been good to me. My friend came for a visit from interstate so I took her to Harbour Town one day for a look around and lunch. She got ao many great bargains we had to go here and buy another piece of luggage for her to get it all home. The staff were so helpful. They told us exactly which ones would be able to be classed as carry on luggage and which ones had to be checked in. In addition the lovely lady then offered for us to leave the bag there that was purchased whilst we finished off our shopping and had lunch and we could pick it up on our way out. That alone was someting no other store has offered and it did make our day so much easier. I also got given a fantastic handbag bought at this store as a birthday present once. I don't often carry handbags but when I started using this one I got so many comments on it. And it was not expensive at all.

The staff, Melony in particular was outstanding in her customer service, however the owner was rude and passed offensive remarks suggesting to check that our money may be counterfeit only to realise that he was in the wrong. He probably passed this comment because we are people of colour. The only reason why we continued our transaction was because of the lovely Melony who spent a lot of time helping us and we didn't want all of her time and effort to go to waste. If a person wants to be in business, he should learn to treat his customers with respect and if he thought there was an issue he could have done so discretely and not embarrass his customers infront of others.

While their range is as pricey as hell, it is truly beautiful and if you could ever afford to buy their clothes you would more than likely have it in your wardrobe for years and years. Max Mara are probably best known for their coats. I do remember an old episode of 'The West Wing' when Press Secretary CJ Cregg commented on the fact that she was wearing a Max Mara coat and from that moment on, I have always wanted one myself. I have been known to pop into Max Mara on North Terrace and try on the odd coat but then have looked at the price tag and been scared away for another 12 months. I continue to live in hope of buying one eventually though.

They also have a range of cool T-shirts the boys would be into. The prices were a little higher than I expected, I think this will be more of a high end vintage store than a bargain op shop. The store owner was super friendly and very chatty, she was web surfing for website design inspiration and shared some handy Moulin Rouge trivia with me while I browsed. This little store deals with fashion for men, women and children. You can find new pieces or older, I suppose you call them vintage, pieces. A lot of the clothing is actually really nice. I wish it fit my normal style. As it is, if I was seen wearing some of the stuff they sell people would wonder what happened to me. I'm more of a "smart casual" dresser. Maybe it's time for a change... As it is, there's a bit of everything here, and with a bit more digging around I'm sure even I could find something to walk away with. I was walking up and down the small store with no attention paid to me, until more customers walked out with their purchases. The first shop assistant lady kept grabbing the lower-priced handbags and showed it to me, asking me, "Would she like these red handbags?...." I can't let temptation take over me, because those dark red shiny handbags that looks that shiny and well-designed MUST be well over my price range.... But here's the thing...the shop assistant will slowly build it up. She strategically gives you the pale red handbags (more affordable, yet still bloody expensive) first - I'm talking about the ones that are closest to the window, then bam! dark red! then bam! she finally gives you the most expensive ones (Limited Editions) in store. Before long, your blood pressure is at an all time high and you have to think fast of your exit statement. I just gotta keep dreaming until that day when I can afford any of this stuff for my future partner. Expect to have a near heart attack when you ask her for the price of the handbag (with Swavorski crystals of course)...wait for it...BAM!! 500 DOLLARS!! Are you kidding? Can this amazing handbag be more expensive than some of the really expensive dresses I've seen in Adelaide?? But that's not all! Oroton has some sweet looking jewellery in a glass case in the middle of the store. They even have a small section for mens ties, accessories, and a bunch of high quality lingerie towards the back wall. Seriously though, me, pay you $600 for a woman's handbag? Ummm....you're really gorgeous but no, thanks. All I'm sayin' is that if Rundle Mall gets a bit boring and sleepy, just step inside this store, and it's guaranteed to raise your bpm.
