Today I had Kiana for my cleaning, and she was excellent. Everyone at Dr. Leinassar's office is incredibly helpful, kind and gentle. That matters so much with a dental experience. I am a very nervous 'dental' person... when I do to the dentist even for a cleaning I tense up. This staff has a way of putting you at ease and checking in with you that makes you feel extra safe and cared for and that truly matters. I have the best smile of my life, and I couldn't be happier with the dental care I get at Leinassar Dental Office! Deeply grateful to be given an appointment for the following day whilst on a road trip from California. Was having horrible pain in a tooth that had already had a root canal and crown. They did an X-ray and consulted with me about the best way to manage this probable tooth fracture in a way that would get me home to my own dentist. I would give 10 stars if that were possible. Highly recommend. They took a lousy day and turned it into a good day. Angelina was kind as she came out to greet me even though she was working with a patient. And then Dr. Leinnassar came, and he was so gracious to me. My anxiety went away. Then Amber finished up the work and she was so kind and gentle, but also very thorough which I appreciated. I was in town from Southern California for the Seaside beach volleyball tournament, and I didn't find a dentist, who could see me in Seaside so I called dentists in Astoria and I am so glad I did. oh, and the funny thing is, the experience was so great. I almost forgot to mention that sitting in the dentist chair, you are staring out a picture window across the Columbia River, basically one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen, and it was from the dentist chair! Cannot say enough about Dr. Leinassar. He took us in after a vicious piece of salt water taffy attacked and dislodged a crown. He explained every step of the process and was the first dentist I ever had that got the nerve numb rather than my tongue. With such an experience, I would have some taffy again once I can find where my husband hid it. read more

I saw Dr. Leinassar for an implant procedure in 2012 when I lived in Astoria. The crown and abutment slid out of the implant in 2018 after I had moved to another location. I was told by my current dentist that I would have to have the implant removed from my jaw, along with a bone replacement done and a new implant put in. When I called Dr. Leinassar about the problem, he immediately proposed that I see him about repairing the existing implant and crown at no charge. I am so pleased to say that the new abutment and crown that he placed in the existing implant matches my teeth in color and alignment, and seems to be firmly in place. I've read people say on other sites that this office is WAY too expensive, but they "work" with you several different ways, give a cash discount and honestly, Let's ALL remember, GOOD work is NOT CHEAP, and CHEAP work is NEVER GOOD......... this IS your mouth and SMILE we are talking about after all......... I'd RATHER pay a lil more,,, and be happy, then get a deal, and STILL NOT be able to SMILE,,,,,,,, Just food for thought. I have NO insurance, yet I was treated as well, as anyone who does. . . To this day I am perusing legal repercussion for him ruining my entire bit because of is overzealous grinding on all of my teeth. Just love Dr. Jeff and his crew. They got me in for a dental emergency in record time (others in the area wanted me to wait over 6 weeks). Their care, attention to detail, and professional work was all outstanding. He explained everything before, during, and after, and is understanding and has a good sense of humor. He listens. Stay away. Not In-Network and the don't inform you. Was told I would get a credit after my 180.00 copay the got a bill for 500.00+ The financial lady takes you in a back room and guessing how much you will owe. It's a slimy experience. The dentist is nice but the experience and financial part is ridiculous and I would go anywhere else. read more

The doctor is really nice, but be prepared to pay a ridiculous amount. I was told, and I asked them to double check, that my payment would be $135 (which was already on the high side) only to get a bill for over $350 after treatment for a simple procedure. Beware! read more

I made appointment for my regular cleaning and the dentist was not there after the hygienist was done in order to look at x-rays and then give opinion on possible need for a filling, so I had to schedule another appointment to see the dentist and for possible filling. So I had to take off work again to make this appointment and they made appointment to include the time for a filling at the same time as the assessment by the dentist. The dentist came in and looked at me for 5 min and said I could use 2 fillings but he could NOT do it now because he was too busy. I made this appointment for the purpose of getting a cavity filled by the dentist if need be but he didn't have the time. My time obviously isn't worth anything according to the dentist. Ridiculous!! What's the point of having an appointment for a filling if the dentist can't provide the time to perform it? I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere!! Dentist was very rude. read more

This man may be the doc for some, but not me. I felt like I was given the run around with him, like someone trying to drag as much cash out of me as they could despite knowing I had no insurance. He rarely if ever let me get a word in edgewise, often talking over me and constructing these elaborate, "maybe you'd like..." scenarios that tended to end with the phrase, "well that's another discussion". Which of course meant we couldn't talk about it now, heavens no. We can talk after you've made another appointment at 140 dollars, or 70 if you're in his happy hour (payable in full right then and there). Despite being in pain, quite a bit in fact, the man never did do any work on my teeth, three appointments of x-rays and run arounds, barely managing to say two words to the man, and I'm still very much in pain. I'll never go back to the man, that's a given, draw your own conclusions but all the same I advise caution. read more
