Came to check out a new hot tub and was immediately greeted by our salesman, Michael. Really can't say enough about how cool of a dude. Retired airborne ranger now selling high quality spas, grills, pools, and patio furniture. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything we asked about. He went into great detail about all of the options and features of each brand and model on the showroom floor. We weren't 100% ready to decide but knew it was an inevitable purchase. He asked us for a deposit so that the one we liked would be held and ready for delivery as soon as we closed on the new home. Purchased what we consider to be a pricey patio set. Salesman was lovely. We realized the tabletop disintegrated/ broke apart, 2 months beyond what they said was the one year warranty period. It had obviously started before that, but we hadn't noticed since it was the underside, until it had ruined our cool deck patio. Completely breaking apart and staining patio! We paid a fee to have a new top delivered, as what they called "a gesture of goodwill". We were on top of it now and that new one lasted less than 6 months before breaking apart in the exact same manner. They were clear that it wasn't their problem and the new top wouldn't be covered. Such an obvious manufacturer fail that they wouldn't correct. So, a completely worthless investment. Salesman reached out via email to see if we still wanted to buy a hot tub, as we'd planned. Let him know why we would never purchase from them again. read more

I just can't praise the service and commitment after the sale more for this company. We purchased a lower end spa to replace our old one at our rental beach house. They understood that we needed something durable with minimal bells and whistles. Simple and intuitive so that the guests could easy work it, and steered us to great affordable choice. They stuck to the delivery schedule AND went above and beyond afterwards. I'm sure that most installs have a few kinks... but ours proved especially challenging! Our old electrical lines didn't want to play well with our replacement spa. The electrician claimed it was the spa, the spa tech claimed it was the electrical. Turns out it was probably a bit of both. But I have to commend Leisure Depot for their continued service and support through out the whole trouble shooting episode and their commitment to ensure that the spa worked and was installed correctly. Despite numerous issues, they kept with it - always contacting me with a solution every time there was a problem. Salesman was great, most product was good. Only had 1 issue and Leisure Depot will not work with you to claim warranty's. We bought a lot of outdoor furniture. Including a simple umbrella for $250+. That did not last 10 months. It had a 3 YR warrenty, thought we were good. Took it in, they did not want to inspect it. Wanted me to email pics, which they sent to manufacturer then promptly denied me? I went to BBB and said I want to bring in for visual inspection you can not tell by pix. They closed the case. This was a simple malfunction of an umbrella and they did NOT want to see it. You cannot tell by pix as i told them. I went to big lots and got one for $79, to be honest.... it seems like a better umbrella than the $250? The point is, nice store, good sales reps. Will not assist with Warranty's. So be careful. Very odd, its a simple umbrella where the middle piece fell apart? it will not stand up straight. Middle portion just came apart after 10 months Odd after spending $4000+ they would not look at a $250 umbrella to make it all good. read more

If you purchase a pool, do not get the canister filter. It is a piece of junk. Go with either a sand filter or a DE. I have had nothing but problems with this filter. It is made of cheap plastic and after a while, even after you backwash, clean the canister or even replace it, it runs great for about 30 mins and then the pressure is almost gone. I cant get any help from the people there. At $150 a filter, it gets very expensive after while. read more

We purchased an outdoor set back in Oct, and the cushions developed issues fairly quickly, and now have developed black mold. I have called many times, promised calls back and nothing. I don't think they are going to like when I show up today with moldy cushions in hand in there showroom. Buyers beware... Update...finally had contact with someone, and they want us to pay for replacements of the cushions. I warn future customers, this unsavory business practice will be stopped. Great customer experience! We have been searching for the right hot tub/spa to replace our old hot tub we started our search at Leisure Depot two years ago. However, we did not execute the purchase because we had not decided on the new patio design and the installer. After going with Lowes and the Lowes installer, we were satisfied with our new reinforced deck. We went out to the SPA show this today to get an idea of what they were selling. We returned to Leisure Depot where we found a sale in progress. While admiring a couple of hot tubs a gentleman greeted us with a warm smile and hand shake. It was Howie Appelt a manager, after figuring out what we wanted from a spa and zeroing in on a smaller unit that we wanted. We told Howie about our experience at the SPA show and he asked how much they were going to charge for the similar spa there. Mind you my daughter in-law was loving on a different model with more bells and whistles. Howie proceeded to burst my purchasing bubble. He said that the sale price of the super deluxe model would be close to the Spa Show price for the smaller spa. Well that made the upgrade a no-brainer, Sold!! We are more than happy with the sale and extra care provide by Howie and will definitely be a repeat customer as we have made small supply purchases here in the past. I was excited to get my above ground pool installed. Jeromy my sales person was awesome informed me of what to expect. I did an above ground resin salt water pool 15x26x54. The installers took down my fence but never put it back up. I had to pay a someone to come put my fence back up. But as a pool company they should know that's very dangerous. UPDATED REVIEW: 8/2/17 I'm starting to regret buying from Leisure Depot. Bought my pool in late April by the end of June my pump died. Called to have it replaced under warranty. Charged $120 bucks even though I used their pool and electrical installers on the original install. End of July the pump has died again this time on wanting to charge me $60 bucks. Shawn their installer called and said he'd be here today around noon. I came home from work to a non working pump and my back wash on the filter is leaking. So I call Leisure Depot they say the tickets closed but the work isn't done and paid for the work 7 days ago still not fixed..... Highly Dissatisfied!! We had a little misunderstand, but the owner stepped in and was amazing - she was incredible and this is my second large purchase with them. Worst spa experience ever! I purchased my spa from here two years ago. First strike, the wrong spa was sent to my house. Had to wait a week before the right one was brought to me. Second strike, the thing started leaking about two months ago. I called and it was still under warranty. A technician/ warranty specialist came to my house to make an assessment. He said that the pump was leaking. Waited another week to get the pump and have it installed. One day later water leaks out the spa again, third strike!! Called to have the technician come back to figure out what the problem was, waited another week for that to happen. He brings another guy with him a week later. They both agreed another part was needed. Waited another week for the part to come in. Got a phone call from the new technician, said he would be at my house in 30 minutes. I get a call 30 minutes later, the guy went to the wrong address 40 minutes away!!!! An hour later he arrives at my house. He goes to install the part and ten minutes later he's preparing to leave, I said "is it fixed"? He said no I broke the part installing it....WTF!! He leaves, two weeks go by, no call from Leisure Depot at all. You would think that someone would call me after all this crap but no, I had to call about my part, talked to ANNA. She said the part was on order and it would take a week for it to come in. Great, I have to wait another week! Three weeks go by and still no call from Anna or Leisure Depot. I finally had to get in my car and drive to Leisure Depot. A young lady was helping me out while I waited for Anna to come back from helping another customer, wish I could have talked to them, anyway Anna comes in and says your part is on back order. A simple follow up phone call would have been nice!! The communication process has been downright atrocious!!! I was medically retired from the Army after serving 23 years. I use the spa for my rehab. I have not been able to do any anything since February, also I've had to use leave time from my job every time somebody needed to come fix my spa. I'm beyond pissed off!!!
