Coastal Cupboard is the specialty kitchen shop that can help you find what you need and want. Great gift giving items for the cook in you life or for yourself. A friendly greeting was given upon entering by the staff and you know service is key. While I don't shop here often, I do love to browse and check them out. This visit I was looking for a doughnut cutter, and without any hesitation the staff took me right to it and others. But we noticed at the entrance, a list of the top 5 items they sell, which include the Frogmore Shrimp Cleaner, and boom - where is it?? Now I am buying that too. Besides kitchen items (cookware, tableware, linens, etc) there is a large grilling section, a local coffee available to grind and bag, and seasonal decor items (unique oyster Christmas ornaments). Coastal Cupboard is that perfect local store, be sure to shop here.

The Coastal Cupboard on Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant is one of my favorite places to go for all things kitchen and cooking items. I really like the selection of all of the different items they have and they seem to have everything you need for the kitchen and more. The staff here is very attentive and willing to help you if you need it. This is a fun place to shop.

Makes chopping onions and veggies so much easier and quicker! Can't wait to use this for salsa.

My daughter would like a roasting pan. I thought it would make a nice Xmas gift. When I started to question her thinking I could surprise her, I realized that purchasing one can be complicated. She's so particular. They have many styles and different colors. I gave up. She's waiting for a sale. The department stores typically exclude this product from coupons. It's just isn't a money maker for an American Department Store. It's too heavy for me to use personally. I'm glad my daughter does the cooking. She can lift the heavy metal pots and pans. They're definitely beautiful to look at. I love a pot that comes with a lid. It's nice enough to keep on the counter as kitchen decor! If you're a serious chef I'm sure you're aware of the brand. I recommend it if you can afford this line of cookware. They never wear out!

(Surprised there was room for it). Is three nights in a row pushing the use of leftovers? I don't think so especially if they can be given a different treatment for each dinner. Night one was chicken thighs slow cooked in a bit of wine with onion, garlic, celery and cashews with toasted turmeric, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Night two was the remaining meat, boned, and its sauce with thin spaghetti, and lots of black pepper. Night three was a delicious broth made from the cooking water of carrots and sauce (who knew this would work?). The reason that I'm writing this, is to a large measure, the photo of my favorite part of this dish. Mathematician Bf beautifully noodl-ized a brick of firm tofu. Sixteen cuts to the length and five cuts to the depth produced the cutest and very accurate thin tofu slices. Could I do this? Never. The Le Creuset Dutch oven was smiling that it may get some time off now.

In the past, we've gone to Lowe's but the appliance repair guy who pulled the plug (pun intended) convinced us to check out this appliance retailer as they stand behind their installations, as well as offering competitive pricing. It's part of the same strip that houses Sesame Burgers and several other small retailers. We were warmly greeted and though the gentleman we were told to ask for was running late, Chip suggested that we look around and that he would answer our questions. The showroom was not large, but, the refrigerator selection appeared to be adequate. Our decision was quick in that a 33", 25 cubic foot fridge, was now considered a special order. We had no time to spare. Chip was able to schedule delivery the next day on a GE with French doors and bottom load freezer the next day. Sold! We received a delivery confirmation that evening and a text message the next morning with a delivery window. Installation was a breeze. Plugs employs their own installers. By noon the next day, I was happily on my way, re-stocking my new fridge and freezer. I was always a big-box shopper but now I'm sold on 'the little guy.' You will be, too. Make Plugs your first stop when shopping for a new home appliance.
