These are things that should be highlighted during the walk through process. When I moved in, I could clearly tell I had an irrigation system because they walked me over to the irrigation system unit inside the garage. However, no one told me that there were no zones in the main part of the back yard. Really? Why plant grass back there? Someone should have highlighted that. All of the other new construction units beside me do not have zones in the backyard as well (just the front). In addition to this and possibly the worst part/ surprise was that no one informed me to check the settings on the irrigation system unit. Since it was new construction and they had just laid sod, they had those sprinklers set to go off for 2 hours every morning prior to my waking. I had NO idea at all. I found out after I had personally used 44,000 gallons of water and owed $800.00 for the month. CRAZY! When I called ACH and JWB (the contracting company), no one was able to assist to either matter and I was told I had to take care of it on my own. Horrible customer service. When I asked to speak to someone higher, I was told he was too busy and that I could not speak with him by a lady named Jessica. Come to find out, American Classic Homes is notorious for doing this with new construction. I really hope if you are buying from ACH that this will help you. I wish I had this advice.

When some things didn't go as planned, they took ownership of the issue even if it wasn't their "fault" and made sure we were happy. That meant a lot to us. Our final walkthrough with Joey and our super Geoff uncovered only one 'blue tape' issue (in contrast to our previous home that had a couple dozen). We completely agree with the below poster in saying that ACH construction is significantly better quality when compared to other builders in the area. And the lack of drama when it came to expectations and timelines. Oh, and we LOVE our new place!

Dennis also had the resources to help finish some of the key projects that he identified would add value to our home. Dennis was helpful in pointing out little details buyers get focused​ on. He did a great job putting together comparable houses for sale in our area to determine​ pricing, he was also able to re-adjust as the market changed. We needed the house sold, Dennis could have suggested we hold out (so he made more money at the higher price) Instead Dennis made recommendations around a price drop and our options as to what it would take to move the house fast, which demonstrated a vested interest in us and our situation instead of just trying to make a few extra bucks. The house sold fast we still made money and the closing went smoothly. I am currently using Dennis to help me buy a house and his connections and relationships with quality proven mortgage brokers has already been a big asset to me. Michelle and Dillon were so attentive to all our questions and concerns, and addressed everything in a timely manner. Between my dad's failing cognition and my mom's language barrier, we had some significant challenges along the way. But they were so incredibly patient with my folks, and explained everything to them so kindly and carefully. Our neighbor next to the construction site was also very pleased with the crew - she said that they were always really nice to her. That's a plus, too. We also struggled to choose paint, tile, flooring, and cabinets that would go well together (we had no idea what would actually look good on the house just from looking at swatches and samples, and the choices were overwhelming). Karin was SO helpful guiding us through that -- she listened well and was very observant trying to figure out what my mom was trying to express, and putting up with my dad changing his mind a million times. Her sense for design, color, and texture and what goes well together was super helpful. We are very, very happy with our new home and several people in our neighborhood have stopped to tell us how much they like it. They also ask who built it. We recommend John Day Homes very highly. Dirty space, failing electrical, and five months of empty promises on my deposit…read more I rented an office at Meadow Creek for about 8 months and regret it. The location looked promising, but the office floor was filthy -- I had to cover it with my own carpet. The electrical was failing: lamps flickered or cut out when I plugged in a kettle. It got very cold in winter because the heating couldn't keep up. There was also a break-in on the second floor that left several offices ransacked. Worst of all, the owners have been promising to return my deposit of over $700 since January. Every time I follow up they either ignore me or say they'll "look into it." Five months on, still nothing. The deposit dispute is now headed to small claims court.

Wide selection of stores and restaurants within a mile of our property here. Property is always clean and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised to see that somebody had come by and wipe down all of the handrails leading up to the apartments in my building. Little things like that go along way and it shows their attention to detail. The office staff is great to work for and provides timely feedback to any inquiries. The community itself is great. People are nice and respectful of the quiet times. Cover it's private the families at the pool the last couple of weeks have enjoyed themselves without excessive noise. I say this only because it's something I'm not used to. The apartments are relatively new... Only four years old. Everything is state of the art and it's a great layout. Patios are really nice and a great place to kick back and relax after a workday. Apartments are set up for Xfinity/Comcast or CenturyLink high-speed Internet. In the past when I've had to call to have service set up the appointment has been two hours plus. Our installation took all of 15 minutes. Signal strength is good and I'm happy with the service. Overall we are very happy with his community it would highly recommend it to anybody. Keep up the great work!

Not only do I no longer live in WA, but it's been difficult trying to get into contact with everyone. They won't split the check up and send it to the addresses they received once we all move out. I have to try and figure all this out, on my own, and I no longer live in WA. Apparently they blamed it that corporate doesn't allow the check to be split. So please advise to me what I am supposed to do?!? Someone. Anyone! NO WHERE IN THE CONTRACT DOES IT SAY YOU CANNOT SPLIT THE CHECK. If this is the case, then you need to write in the contract of how the deposit will be received by former tenants.

I can't say enough good things about the new management (Nicole and Eze) they truly care about Arbor Chase community. their level of efficiency, professionalism, and the perfect balance of family vibe is what I will miss the most. when ever my grandchildren would come visit and accompany me to the office they would get a snack and juice right at eye level for the children. If you start to leave the office before grabbing something they encourage everyone to grab a snack before leaving. Nicole and Eze have different themed events and invite all to stop in. They put on Halloween decoration and pumpkin contest. There was a hotdog, chips, and drink event with kid games to name a few. The rent is reasonable, the ground keeper is amazing, and management gives their full attention to everyone who the come in contact with. So called the police several times still no luck of being resolved. The neighbor would blast his music till 2am or start it armt 2 am. Today January 1 2021 his music has been lasting since 12pm still playing loud and it is almost 10pm.
