After only a few months, the bed railing broke due to extremely poor-quality materials. When I went to the store to file a warranty claim, I was told to come back another time because the person in charge of claims was not available. When I returned a few weeks later, I was then told that I had to call three different stores in Calgary just to find out which one my claim had been assigned to. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I will never shop there again.

My elderly Mom and I went to look at the tables and began pulling apart the leaf on the one we were interested in while the group of employees continued their chatting amongst themselves. No one approached us or offered help at all. When we went up to the desk we still were not noticed until I said "excuse me". After purchasing the table ( against my wishes but my Mom really liked it) we turned to leave and I said goodbye but they had gone back to chatting and did not hear me. When the day of delivery came after making many adjustments to our day and moving things around to make way for the new table including getting rid of the old one we waited. And we waited, tracked delivery - on truck and on it's way. Waited and waited, it was now 8:30 pm. Called the store, no answer. In short it did not show up. We did not receive a call nor a text to tell us why. Next day I called and a boy answered after being having my story being interrupted several times I asked to speak to the manager. I got an assistant manager who went on to say that the soonest they can get it delivered would be in 5 days. She had no idea what happened and couldn't find out for me as to why there was no phone call. She also told me "I actually like old people" when I explained my parents whom are elderly would no where to eat till then. She went on to tell me that "we are not amazon and can't guarantee a delivery day or time". I again asked to talk to the manager but the assistant manager said she would get her to call me. The manager never called me. Currently we await for the next delivery date which is tomorrow. Needless to say I will be going back to Leon's for any future purchases and will not be recommending The Brick to anyone I know.

She helped me with choosing table styles and colors also made sure we were getting the best deal that we could before ordering the table. She would even text me instead of having to go in all time for any questions we both had, that made things so much easier with having three kids. The day I did go in to select colors she was so good with the kids and let them sit on the beds which kept them busy and happy! I will recommend her to anyone and La-Z-Boy seems like a great place to shop with amazing quality furniture.

On September 1st I walked into the store with $1000 and ordered three pieces, a couch and two chairs. I was told the furniture would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I expected the furniture to arrive well before Christmas. When the furniture did not arrive by Christmas I started calling the store and visiting the store on a regular basis, I always talked to the sales person who took my order, her name was Christine. Every time I got a different excuse and most of the time she didn't know why the furniture was late. At NO time did she EVER call me or email me to keep me updated. Had she taken the time to call or email, I might not have been so mad. Once they got my money I was ignored. The furniture finally arrived February 25th - 6 months after I ordered it. When the truck arrived at our house, we were not at home so they took the furniture back to the store. I had called Christine and told her specifically to call my husbands cell phone when the truck was on its way so someone could be there, she did not do that and our furniture went back to the store. The second time the truck arrived, my husband was at home and the truck driver refused to unload the furniture unless we paid the remaining balance owed. That was not our original deal, we had signed up for the 12 payment plan at the store with a $1000 down payment. My husband was on the phone with the store for 30 minutes until they finally convinced the truck driver to unload our furniture. The customer service I received was so unbelievably bad that if there was a zero rating, that's what they would get. Christine eventually told me that our order had been LOST at the factory and she had to re-order the furniture which is why it took so long. I'll never buy anything from Lazy Boy, and my advice to other people is BUYER BEWARE.

As they lived out of town they were not able to be at the store within 14 days to exchange it for another color. It was 3 months and the product was still new inventory. It had not been discontinued and was currently stocked. It was reutned in original bag and with receipt. They would not give a store credit, or even exchange for a different color. The client did have additional products at the register that they were going to purchase but decided against this due to the behavior of the staff and the return policy. Please be aware as I have had clients with issues with this store before.

When time for delivery, 3 pieced didn't even make it off the truck. They were broken and or faulty. I was then left with half a couch set in my home. An hr after they left I noticed my one recliner made a clunking sound and the other 2 pieces, the stitching was already coming loose and the staples underneath were not holding. I called customer care only to be told too bad, it's already in your possession, we will send a tech. That was not acceptable to me as obviously the entire set was faulty to begin with. I called the store directly to be told by Brandon that he would order me a new recliner as it was making that clunking noise and because it hadn't even been removed from their manifest yet so he knew it was a fresh delivery. I also then asked to speak to the manager as this whole experience was awful. The manager just said over and over, that they would call a tech. When I explained that I was not ok with my $8400 furniture needing a tech not even 24 hrs after delivery and that Brandon told me a new one would be sent out, he proceeds to put Brandon on the phone only for him to deny up and down that he said that. I asked flat out so you are calling me a liar then? He said well I never said that so guess so. I asked to speak to Peter again (manager) to be told he didn't want to speak to me. I said well that's too bad put him back on the phone. Only to be given even more attitude and disrespect from him. He kept telling me nope, a tech, or I can pay a restocking fee. I was very clear on how this is not what I bought. Never once was I told that my brand new high end quality furniture wouod need a tech within the first 24 hrs! He finally said fine I'll request a whole new 6 piece. I said ok cool, how long will that take? He gets even more disrespectful and adds a very rude tone "I don't know!" Well isn't that your job to know? I said you do not understand the frustration here and he yells "omg!" And hangs up. Then proceeds to leave the building as he didn't want to speak to me again. I also continued to call customer care where I was told over and over that I have to pay a 25% restocking fee to get a refund. Agent told me my fee would be $408. I finally just agreed as I needed the rest of my money back. I said note that on my file and I will call you back. I call back and get another agent who told me that agent didn't do the math correctly and I have to pay $840 plus 10% on the 3 pieces that didn't enter my home. I said absolute not! They refused to honor what the first agent told me. I then called back to confirm it was being processed to be then told that I also know had to pay a $100 delivery fee!! Again said no! The guy kept cutting me off and being very rude! I am hoping someone higher up will see this and resolve this situation fully with me not having to pay anything! If anything, the original amount I was originally told! It seems like every agent is reading off a script as they have been trained to not help the customers like they are employed to do!
