Came here and did a little mini circuit of the entire place. Started off, reliving our childhood memories playing Tekken III, they must be the only arcade in Dublin that stocks this classic! Swiftly moved onto the pool where I got my ass handed to me, guess I can't really blame them for that one. Soon after we moved onto the main event, the creme de la creme, the bowling. Overall the place was suitably busy, had a nice crowd and also incredibly clean, something thats hard to come by in bowling alleys these days. We even topped off the day with some food which tasted damn good. If you're hosting a kids birthday party in the area, this is surely the only place to do it, kids are guaranteed to have a blast. For the adults, what better way let off some steam waiting for the kids then to kill a few zombies or lash a few bowling balls?

Everyone in secondary school who was cool used to come here on the weekends for a while, it was the cool thing to do! then it got boring and we stopped going, they introduced an entrance fee, we realised the food wasn't nice and the bowling went up a bit in price. this wasn't our dream hang out spot anymore. its still a grand spot for a spot of bowling and i have gone back quite a few times but i have only ever indulged in the bowling. Thing is though, it is a little expensive for what it is. If you're around at off peak times it's not too bad but nobody really is which turns this place into a little bit of a ghost town. The pool & snooker tables are very worn, bruised and battered. Most of the amusement machines are so old that the images have burnt into the screen and have lost all quality. Bowling is decent enough though. The lanes have been kept in a good condition and if you're in a group of people works out okay in terms of price. Have to give them credit though, they have some great deals for family nights out and even events for the Blanchardstown Centre staff, during the week and weekends. Deals with the likes of Dantes Pizza nearby or even a BYOB night with bowling for the staff.

They have free and good WiFi. The food on offer was ok priced for ok food. Most of what I could see food wise was pre-frozen factory produced food like low quality cheap chicken nuggets and chips. Not my idea of dining but many folk seem not to mind feeding this stuff to kids. I sure wouldn't. They sold the wonderful Maud's ice cream too but sadly they didn't have pooh bear so I had to settle for vanilla. 1st world problems I suppose. The staff were a friendly bunch despite being continually surrounded by the sort of mayhem that pre teen kids specialise in. It's four star but only 2 stars food wise where the could and should do much better.

Bray Bowl has a multi-lane bowling alley and a large video-games arcade downstairs, and a pool hall upstairs. Given that it's an arcade, and a pool hall, in Bray, beside a Dart station, you can probably guess that the clientele are a little rough, but I never had any trouble. If you like playing pool there are few halls as good as this and a game of dance-dance revolution never disappoints.

Century City arcade is situated beside the Cineworld on Parnell street, in behind the Woolshed…read more It's a perfectly functional arcade. A few racing games, a few shooters. They have Time Crisis 4, which gave me a big pang of nostalgia. Anyway, this is all beside the point. I include these details for those of you who might go to arcades for anything other than Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). I swear I've spent so much money on this machine, I'm basically keeping Century City afloat. It's not like it's a particularly good DDR machine, the songs are all J-pop, the price is €1 a pop, but it's very addictive. Very addictive. Thanks to those obsessive Japanese (even more so than yours truly), the game has 5 levels of difficulty, ranging from "bloody hard" to "break down in tears". I have yet to complete a mission on the 2nd easiest level of difficulty, something I find very emasculating. Not content with making you move your feet with the timing and precision of MJ himself, they also have a great laugh randomly changing the tempo, gah!

I was surprised at how many people were playing the games, this being at 11am and the year 2013, especially when you can download most of the games on your phone for 89 cent. A nice place, somewhat a look into the past when entertainment was simpler.
