I asked if we could speak on the phone, and within under five minutes, I was speaking to Cliff himself; not paralegal, not a receptionist or intake coordinator, not an AI Chatbot; just Cliff Berkeley himself. And in one of the most soothing voices I have ever heard Cliff professionally and honestly gave me very sound and helpful advice, clear direction and what to expect ahead with with my SSDI appeal. I had already retained representation, and he knew that. But instead, he took the time to speak to me anyway, to listen to my story, my own battle through Disability, just two years ago, and all the ups and downs that we are going through with my husband's SSDI denial appeal. I cannot speak more highly of cliffs, knowledge, embassy, and grace, all rolled into one heartfelt package. The entire phone call. I sat there and thought, "man I wish I had found you first before the group that we have currently retained law services with." There are a lot of blocks to my husband's case some of which may seem slightly insurmountable. But Cliff encouraged us not to give up. Utilizing both honesty and optimism, he laid out a description of the difficulties of our case, but also included some ideas that may be able to overcome the hurdles. We spoke for ever 30 mins. His best advice is to stick it out with the current representation I have or not that I may call him anytime simply to pick his brain, even if I'm not retaining him for services. Cliff describes that he wears two hats, a Disability hat and a human being hat. What's incredible is his ability to wear both hats at the same time. Thank you, Mr. Cliff Berkley. Although you are not the law firm that I initially signed up with, I highly recommend you to anyone and everyone who reads this post. Extremely knowledgeable, understandable, and truly empathic; these are the qualities that perfectly describe Cliff Berkeley. If he is the first person in your search for help with your SSDI case, lucky you; your search is over.

The clerks at the Federal District Court had to guide me on how to submit all my documentation. I was overwhelmed and felt hopeless. No attorney wanted to represent me at that level. I just wasn't a "good fit" said various attorneys about my case. Lucky for me, Mr. Troy Monge took me in as his client and helped guide me through the complex rules and procedures that make up the Social Security Administration (SSA). Mr. Monge is a straight shooter. He told me bluntly that Social Security Administration rules were quite different than the rules for the Department of Veterans Affairs and as such, being approved by an administrative law judge at the SSA hearing would be an uphill battle. Yet, Mr. Monge went through my files with a fine-tooth comb. Sometimes SSA misses details and so Mr. Monge made sure that the Social Security Administration flagged my file for expedited processing as I was a 100% disabled veteran. Still, it was a slow-going process with the Social Security Administration and Mr. Monge would reach out every so often to keep me updated. As we got closer to my hearing, his experience and his skill shined through. I was in a whirlwind of preparation: questions, documentation, double-checking, and more. I said to myself, "Whoa this is good. I'm in good hands." Of course, I was a nervous wreck at the hearing. Mr. Monge had already done the hard part behind the scenes. I just had to show up and answer a question or two for the judge. The work that Mr. Monge put in, coupled with the testimony from the various experts the judge requested, swayed the opinion of the judge in my favor. I'll be forever grateful that Mr. Monge took a chance on me. He didn't guarantee a win, but he fought for me as best he could and in the end, we won! I recommend.

It was my 2nd appeal and honestly, I was intimidated by the entire process. After rejections from 2 other attorneys, Mr Monge accepted the challenge. Almost as soon as I spoke to him, he hit the ground round running. He gave me a list of documents he needed to build my case (as my hearing was just in a little over a week!) and I scrambled to get them to him. We were in constant communication and he was expert at assessing whatever I could produce. I'm impressed at how this attorney operates. I watched him take notes, make phone calls, etc. all while conversing with me. I was once able to multitask this way! He knows what the judges expect, what Social Security expects and he skillfully sculpted my case to conform to just that. He's very direct and doesn't pussy foot around. I like that. No emotions necessary, just direct and precise facts. This is what you have, this is what we need. It hardly seems fair that the amount he earns from the case is so little. I've had mealy mouthed attorneys treat me horribly and take 55%! Thank you, Mr Monge. I have two more potential clients for you!

I watched Mr. Kalish video and read the reviews and decided this attorney was much better than my previous attorney with knowledge on the social security disability cases. I was welcomed with a friendly and cheerful first call with a wealth of new and helpful information that began my case again but this time with a stronger presentation and better assistance to how to work and manage the system through the process. There is a team work here and both team members have their job to get this case to a win. Every step of the way you have someone that listens, explains to you all the crazy paper work from Social Security and how to work around the multiple layers of a system that is set up to now want you to win your case. I had someone through Mr. Kalish that has the patience, knowledge and understanding to walk you successfully through each step. I had a FULLY favorable decision with my second attempt as this happened only with the expertise and knowledge of this competent and efficient attorney. I received a letter from Social Security seven months after being awarded already asking me to prove again that I am supposed to be receiving benefits. I made a phone call to Mr. Kalish for assistance as the best quality is that we can ask questions after the case is closed and awarded when Social Security continues to try the multiple levels of insanity for you to try and prove to their department what the Judge already awarded is correct. The peace of mind that you can call and receive answers to questions after the case is closed is just a further testament of the quality of attorney you are receiving. If you want to win your Social Security case, go with Mr. Kalish-go with the best and you can be with me and after several years of fighting the system receiving benefits and taking care of your health. Throughout the process, Mr. Richards and his paralegal Mr. Arnold Marquez were able to provide the family member with timely answers to questions, especially since "online researches" (I don't get why people take whatever they see online as gospel) often generated contradicting advices and added to confusion. During several critical moments, the family member being represented was misled by "advices" from "friends". It was Arnold who provided timely clarification, explained one's rights, and eased the family member from a severe panic attack. Without them, I would've been overwhelmed and at a loss on how to ease the family member's ceaseless worries. Ultimately (after an expectedly lengthy but well-managed process), Mr. Richards and Mr. Marquez successfully defended my family members' legal rights, and the case was settled with appropriate compensations and necessary medical treatment. Overall, Mr. Richards and Mr. Marquez are to be commended for their professionalism, knowledge of the law, as well as their ability to steer plaintiff away from legal pitfalls (baffling "advices" from "friends" and "know-it-all" relatives without any legal basis). It was a long fight, and at times it felt as if everyone was against the family member, and in the end, the only people who were truly on her side were Mr. Richards and Mr. Marquez.
