I picked the Doral location because it's close to work. Having recently started at a new position and being in my probationary period, I had to deal with a super basic insurance before my employer's policy kicks in. Karla, the office manager, was really helpful in calling and dealing with the company thus saving me that "headache". After previous home & alternative remedies weren't working, I called this office. It's located in a Doral office building and next to another orthopedic practice. From what I understand, the other office is OrthoNow's "home base" where I would go if my condition doesn't ger better. It's also where OrthoNow does their imaging. When I visited, Melissa who does double duty as an xray tech & medical assistant, took my vitals and took me downstairs for xrays. After the x-rays, I was checked out by William the nurse practitioner, who reviewed and said that basically I have tennis elbow, so I have to take it easy for at least a little bit on the weights.

All of a sudden she is gone for any follow/up. All Labs and tests she ordered led nowhere. The practice did call after lab results and mentioned a referred doctor by voicemail. The office wait was awful. I was early for my appointment. Filled out the paperwork. Still waited in first waiting room for 30 minutes. Got called to the exam room. Got my skimpy gown on and waited at least another 30 minutes .... unreal. The Dr Senemar after my exam says go to her office and we will talk more. Since I had never been there I went to an office that had her name on it and sat on the couch. Ten minutes later the nurse sees me and says what are you doing here? Wadda' think! She moves me to another waiting room. No one ever came. I went to checkout by myself. The clerk was young, stupid and not helpful. No knowledge of what prescriptions and referrals the Doctor had made. It was maddening. After I left she ran out the door to hand me an envelop with prescriptions and referrals. Thanks very much. I will never go there again.

I made a pre-arrival appointment for 9:30 a.m., and from the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional. Chelsea at the front desk greeted me with a smile and was both friendly and professional. As a new patient, I was fully registered within just a couple of minutes. She even informed me of my copay before I was seen, processed my payment, provided a receipt, and explained what to expect next. Shortly afterward, Tiffany, the medical assistant, brought me back to the exam room. She was incredibly friendly, made me laugh, and immediately put me at ease. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. She efficiently took my vital signs and gathered information about my injury. Abi, the nurse, also assisted during my visit. She was bubbly, kind, and welcoming, adding to the positive atmosphere. Dr. Louis came in promptly after Tiffany finished. He was calm, professional, caring, and had an excellent bedside manner. After evaluating my injury, he ordered the necessary X-rays. Jonathan, the X-ray technologist, arrived right away. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He completed my X-rays quickly while explaining the process and what the remainder of my visit would look like. The communication and teamwork among this entire staff were outstanding. Everyone worked together seamlessly, and I felt informed and cared for every step of the way. My X-rays were read quickly, my discharge instructions were thoroughly explained, and I was provided with the equipment needed to help immobilize my injury. From check-in to discharge, I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I would gladly return to this location and highly recommend it to anyone needing urgent care services. This team deserves a 10 out of 10 for professionalism, efficiency, communication, and patient care.
