Tiffany and Candace are truly a ray of sunshine and other business should learn from them when it comes to customer service! The amenities are nice the pool is probably my favorite place to be during the summer!

What could have been a very decent place to live is being ran to the ground by idiots and thieves…read more Kayla Jackson and her stupid sidekick Tiffany are the absolute worst managers anyone could possibly have in charge of their apartment complex. In the beginning they come off as people who care about you and the issues you have as a tenant but in reality they're no better than vindictive poisonous snakes. The only positive thing I gotten from the leasing office is the corporate office private number; which is 1(229) 273-9430. Bill Turton is the owner, not that he will help but at least you will have it. I've been a tenant at The Richmond Apartments for a very long time and enjoyed my stay until I realized that my apartment was being burglarized by the maintenance workers. Over time, I began to realize that things were being taken from my home and the outside storage unit provided by this complex. At first it was small things like silverware, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins and mason jars. Things you knew you had but somehow just couldn't find. As time went on more things became missing, cleaning supplies, canned goods from my cabinet, packs of tooth brushes and toothpaste, bottles of Dove soap, bottles of lotion, scented candles, toys, children's book, clothes, school supplies, art supplies, Christmas ornaments and decoration. Food was taken from my refrigerator as well as my diabetic insulin. My prescription pain pills were also gone. My car keys were stolen and my car was rampaged through where the contents of glove compartment was spilled all over the car seats and floor. My credit card was stolen and $65.00 was spent at McDonald's. I've contacted the police and made numerous reports regarding the thefts but nothing could be done do to lack of evidence. I know it was the maintenance crew because there was never any forced entry and they always had access to the keys to my apartment. I'd informed Kayla and Tiffany about the situation. At first they seemed to care but then they became nonchalant finally downright defensive. I'd called them on several occasions to complain. Instead of addressing the matter they stopped answering my calls. The only time I'd get through would be if I called from a different phone number. When Tiffany realized it was me on the phone she cursed me out and hung up. Kayla whose supposed to be the manager did the same thing, then called the cops on me saying that I was harassing them. Because of their lack of concern the maintenance workers became more brazen and the burglaries escalated. Kayla took served me with an eviction notice claiming that I called the police too much. The case was thrown out. After I was able to find another place to live, I gave them noticed that I was leaving and I moved out. Although I cleaned the apartment they still kept my deposit and charged me additional fees. Because I refused to give into their extortion they are now trying to ruin my credit. I just want everyone who is thinking about moving there to think twice!

I've been here 3 years and management and maintenance staff changes constantly, each one worse than…read morethe one before. Maintenance left live wires in my unit, dangling over a bucket of water and didn't care about the fire hazard. They take forever to make repairs, first my air unit went out during the summer and took over 2 months to repair, then heat went out in 10/2022 and didn't get fixed until 01/25/2023. They expect you to either suck it up or pay out of pocket for things clearly listed in your lease agreement as their responsibility to maintain. The property manager Patrice is rude and condescending. She will blatantly lie in your face about being in the office when no one has been consistently in the office since before Thanksgiving and tell you what is not her problem. No one returns your calls, was told they don't have the passwords to check voicemails and also told anything that happened before they came into office is not their issue. Not willing to compromise on anything and offer unrealistic options to your problem. Every excuse in the book on why they are not on top of things. The pool hasn't been open in years, trash piles up constantly and clutters the parking lots. They coincidentally lose maintenance orders and then tell you nothing was ever reported. Pest control is inconsistent even though it's a fee that is apart of rent. The list goes on and on. Save your money on these overpriced, rundown apartments and look anywhere else for properties not owned by this company. If I could give no stars, I would've.
