The back right corner had sewing equipment as well as PDF patterns for sale from Noodlehead. Just a heads up that these are sold at a premium compared to getting them directly from Noodlehead. This was my first time at the shop but my cousin's second. She says that the other lady running the shop was much more helpful with selection and input as she had questions and the lady in the store was very short with her answers. Could be that she had a cold and wasn't feeling well.

We had just come from The Bay where the prices of trees were exorbitant. They had affordable options at different price ranges and options with pre-lit trees, flocked trees, and different sizes, although they didn't have any really large ones on display at the time. They had really cute lighting options as well that were all buy one get one free. They were smaller string lights of about 6-10 feet and featured different types of features on the actual bulbs like snowmen, reindeer, and Santa faceplates. They had really neat testers set up in store so you could press a button on a sample string of lights to see what they would look like. The batteries weren't included with these however. There were a ton of other decorations available that were ready to display or ones to customize.

I actually haven't heard of them before or at least, didn't really notice. I found out that they're Canadian, family-owned, and female-owned interestingly enough. The online options were plentiful but I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of what they had. The store is pretty new in Mapleview and huge! It's split half half between kitchen and bedding. They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

I am a knitter, so I go to the yarn selection in the store. There I find an array of choices. I just want to cuddle up on one of the shelves. Fabulous colors and textures abound. I always buy more than I need, but the yarns seem to pop in my hands and say take me home. The fabric selection is awesome too. They have kits for making quilts in many sizes and colors. If you do any crafts, stop in for some interesting finds. I look forward to coming back.

Ethan Allen offers superior tailoring, fabric and over quality for $450 for the same thing only better. Is this man CRAZY? Also , he never gives you a receipt or invoice as you would in any other store its rather odd and you do not discover the full price of the work until after its been completed and then you are in a bullied position to pay. I would look elsewhere for custom tailoring or drapery as the practices of this business are questionable and the astronomical pricing is LUDICROUS.
