Anyways, I was able to get into seeing Dr. Amy Iddins within a few days. The scheduling was incredibly easy and direct. All of this was very important to me- I've had emergency eye surgery for a rare glaucoma and I don't take lightly who I see for my eyes! The office staff were incredibly friendly and a pleasure to see! The technology they've invested in is fantastic. The Dr. was excellent! She listened, gave great advise (saving me from future trauma even), and then went above and beyond to order me trial contact lenses- What I absolutely loved was not only that the service and care was wonderful, but I got those trials in exactly a week and all I needed to do was swing by and pick them up. I'm very happy I moved to see Dr. Iddin and her team. You will be too!!

I walked in without an appointment and was greeted with great customer service, and the fast, knowledgeable assistance. I was in and out within 30 minutes, with clear expectations of when to expect my glasses I was also able to call back in the office to have a team member help update an invoice for me so I could submit to my FSA - this was done over the phone, and she immediately offered solutions instead of excuses.

The receptionist emails you to confirm and is flexible if you need to reschedule if conflicts arise (not like I know from experience, or anything...) -My wait time is almost nonexistent. I checked in, signed a consent form and hadn't even sat down and Dr. McLean whisked me away for my eye exam. -Dr. McLean is so kind, but more importantly, knows her stuff. She performs the most thorough and efficient eye exam I've ever had. We're talking in and out in 35 minutes on my lunch break. She makes sure to ask if you have any questions or concerns you want to talk about. Her soothing voice helps me concentrate on keeping my peepers open when she's shining a bright light in them. -The receptionist noticed my sunglasses were stretched out from wearing them on top of my head (apparently a bad habit) and offered to tighten them for me while I was checking out. While getting excellent eye care and answers, they don't mind lots of talking or even if something said does not come out just right, they are good with people just being people. This creates an environment that is hard to find these days, leaving you feeling amazing afterward and inspired to keep it going in your next environment. I don't know how their prices compare but I do know using my glasses and contacts reminds me of really great people that I am grateful to interact with. Also Dr. Avila, who advises me, has always given great advice and has been one of the best doctors I have ever worked with.

I went to pick up my new lenses for my glasses today after waiting over two weeks for the new lenses to be done. Erica told me the lenses did not fit my glasses and they had to be retraced in order for a new set of lenses to be ordered, which is going to take another two weeks!! Why was this not done correctly the first time??!!! Last year, I had to get a new set of glasses and lenses and the lab scratched my lenses and I had to wait about three and a half weeks to get the glasses!! When I did finally get the glasses, the lenses were scratched up!! I had to get the lenses fixed again!! This is ridiculous and unacceptable! The only reason I am still coming here is because of Dr. Megan Avilia, the optometrist. She is delightful and a pure joy to be around. Unfortunately, it looks like I am going to have to find another optometrist. I am not going to put up with this anymore. The location needs to find new professional staff to work in the lab who know what they are doing. I would not recommend this particular location for your vision care. She would even remember that I liked coffee and mentioned it to the receptionist to make sure she made me a cup. What doc does that? One that cares for her patients. I go about 1x a year nowadays for a check in, and have continued to get great care from all the Drs Busby, Feipel & Ray. Also they offer a free eye checkup for babies. Dr. Ray was great with my kiddo and had a fun little light up toy so she wasn't frightened during the exam. They are a great asset to the community.
