I'm seeking treatment because I'm in pain and a little kindness goes a long way. I said I would like to make an appointment. She said for chiropractic you don't need a prescription. I said I can't and wouldn't see a chiropractor for my diagnosis. She then went into what I already knew. She said you need a prescription for physical therapy first, then she could make my appointment. I then asked how does your physical therapy work, because there is not a lot of one on one time. She again was confused, these were her words. Not mean. I heard this place was so great and different. Even your website touts that. Well since my husband was last here which was a few years ago, I goes they are nothing more than the usual meat market all of these other places have become. I was a patient of Dr. Semente's for about a year. During that time he sent me for various…read moretests, and performed x-rays, promising me he could get me all straightened out. He stated multiple times that he had seen this many times before. After all of these tests, trigger point injections, and lumbar traction sessions, I had no relief. After researching and meeting with multiple doctors, an x-ray to the hip showed no problem with the spine and the actual cause was no cartilage on the hip joint and severe arthritis. My hip was the actual cause of my back pain, and my spine was perfectly fine. So as the Dr. became wealthier from me, my pain continued. I am now pain free due to hip replacement surgery, not from anything that was performed in this office. I discourage everyone from going to Dr. Semente. Dr. Semente is rude and unprofessional to a patients as well as his office staff. It is not a calm place to go to get better, but rather the opposite. I'd like to say that mine was an isolated case, but I have spoken to several others who have had similar experiences. Save your money, and go to a reputable place for help and healing.
