I called because Marc, was highly recommended by many people at Gold's Gym including my husband. I have had such an awful time recently with a back issue and had an MRI and I have a herniated disc with pain. I tried to explain to the woman who answer the phone; first I gave her my name. I said my husband was a patient there. I explained I had a back issue. She kept interrupting saying she didn't understand why I was calling. Which, immediately made me feel uncomfortable. I'm seeking treatment because I'm in pain and a little kindness goes a long way. I said I would like to make an appointment. She said for chiropractic you don't need a prescription. I said I can't and wouldn't see a chiropractor for my diagnosis. She then went into what I already knew. She said you need a prescription for physical therapy first, then she could make my appointment. I then asked how does your physical therapy work, because there is not a lot of one on one time. She again was confused, these were her words. Not mean. I heard this place was so great and different. Even your website touts that. Well since my husband was last here which was a few years ago, I goes they are nothing more than the usual meat market all of these other places have become. I went in and didnt have full motion with my neck for years. After first appt with Dr Abby i had better range of motion and it feels much better. There is no pressure to continue coming or go in more than is needed. The drs and staff are very friendly and get to know all of their patients individually. Just beware the fart bell. read more

The people at True Sport Care are simply the best at what they do. Like many, I have gone to typical chiropractors over the years for back pain. The actions are all the same with every one of them - electronic stim, crack the neck, crack the back, repeat two days later. True Sports seems to be a combination of PT and chiropractic - true sports medicine. They fix the problem and never try to get you in for visits you don't really need. They are terrific and highly recommended. While all of their doctors are excellent, Dr. Abby is spectacular. If you have back issues, don't waste your time anywhere else. read more

True Sport Care is the place to go for any musculoskeletal concerns. I first read about Dr. Marc in an article leading up to the 2014 Olympics. Then a short while ago I was telling a friend how I had to get to a chiropractor and he couldn't praise Dr. Marc and True Sport Care enough. So I gave them a try... This is not just an office with a few tables, where you get cracked for 5 minutes and walk out. They spend time with you each visit, and work on past and present issues, as well as teaching you preventative maintenance. Things like stretches, proper breathing exercises and core-building exercises you can do at home. There's an entire rehabilitation/training room as well. One final point that just occurred to me. Dr. Marc told me that he'd have me out in 3-4 visits. No keeping you around to bilk you and/or your insurance company for 20 visits. He corrected my lower back/hip/walking thing I had going in those 3 visits. It had been pretty bad. As they're pretty centrally located in Suffolk County, I'd recommend you give them a look. They are fantastic. Unlike other chiropractic offices that try to get you to max out your insurance with visits three times a week, they actually analyze your movement and teach you how to strengthen and stretch on your own. They truly listen and try to figure out which muscle groups may be weak and contributing to imbalances, causing pain. I would highly recommend them! read more
