My wife tried the duck confit and as usual very tasty but a little bit on the dry side. One thing I found very unpleasant but is pretty common in Paris is the smoking. Staff were standing in the doorway and just outside the window where we were sitting blowing smoke into the restaurant. The quality of the service and the food depends on the staff's perception of whether you are a local or a tourist. Even if you speak French, if the staff thinks you're tourists, you will get an indifferent service at best or just completely neglected, where as the servers were much more attentive to the locals at the table next to us. Also, most of our food came out dry and over cooked, and we had to track down our server to get some water. It's a shame that there's such discrimination in a city that depends highly on tourism industry. Especially with the summer Olympics coming up, it's concerning that the locals would have such low regards for the visitors to their city.

The cost for the main dish and dessert is 17€. Can't beat it. The main server/bartender is very nice and his helper/server is also cordial. I recommend that you come when they first start serving lunch, so you beat the crowd. Once the crowd is there, the service slows down quite a bit.
