Early on, and due to some medical and financial issues I explained to Jose that this wasn't the best time, but we wanted to at least take care of our portion, however we would need to make some payments to him if they wanted to proceed soon. He agreed that would be fine, and told me he would give plenty of notice when they got the job planned and scheduled. A week later I received a text message informing me that they would be starting the fence that day. I arrived home 15 minutes later and our fence was already demolished. I contacted him about the untimely planning and lack of notice and he assured me not to worry and he would be in touch with me for a payment. No problem. Two days ago he came by and I let him know I had the first of 3 payments by today and he agreed that was fine. After I contacted him this morning, he flipped the script, raised the price, then immediately changed to payment in full or threatened to put a lien on the house. When I called him out on his lies, he threatened to leave a negative review on our family business if we said anything. I have the texts of these threats and welcome the libel if he wants to go to court. Be wary, of a contractor that lies and changes the rules as they go.

Yesterday, a huge wind/sandstorm blew through Hanford, and it toppled my 40-foot cottonwood tree. The tree fell directly onto my fence. I thought for sure the fence would be destroyed, but no. It wasn't. That fence is built like a freaking rock. Only very minor damage to the top of the fence. The gate still works, and it's not even wobbly. I have to say, if you want a fence built to last, choose this company!

My experience with this company never even reached the installation stage. The problems began…read moreimmediately after I signed the contract and provided my payment information. From the start, there was a complete lack of professional communication. No one ever called me. All communication was conducted through text messages, often lengthy and confusing. I was instructed to send photos of my fence and informed when the utility flags were placement along the fence line. Throughout the following week, I repeatedly received messages asking whether the flags had arrived and requesting photos of them in place. Each time, I explained that I had not received anything. In an effort to keep the project moving, I even offered to purchase the flags myself from a local Lowe's. They quickly agreed, at which point they finally admitted that they had never received confirmation from their own internal team that the flags had been shipped in the first place. The company then scheduled an installation date, only to change. Based on the original date they provided, I had already arranged time off from work. To make matters worse, the representative I was communicating with told me that I did not need as much time off because the project would only take one day. At the same time, they revealed that the utility appointment had never even been scheduled because the request was still sitting in a queue. This cause the project to be delayed even longer. It became increasingly clear that there was a serious breakdown in communication within the company. One department appeared to have no knowledge of what another was doing, leaving me to uncover mistakes and delays that should have been managed internally. All of these issues occurred within a span of approximately two weeks. After repeated miscommunication, scheduling changes, missed steps, and an inability to provide a reliable installation date, I lost confidence in the company's ability to complete the project. As a result, I ultimately canceled the job. This experience reflected a lack of organization, communication, and accountability from the very beginning. Based on my experience, I could not justify moving forward with the project.
