Several other companies never even sent bids after coming out to look at the gate or quoted me entirely new gates. Because of my busy work schedule, I wasn't able to thoroughly inspect the fence before signing off. Once I finally did, I noticed several issues, including large and uneven gaps between the pickets, one broken picket that wasn't properly nailed in, and another that was bent at the top. I contacted Juan, and to his credit, he had the crew return to replace the broken and bent pickets. However, he never addressed my concerns about the large gaps in the fence. This is supposed to be a privacy fence, yet I can clearly see into my neighbor's yard when standing near it, which defeats its purpose. I reached out again regarding the gaps. Juan responded that he would let me know the next steps. Instead, he later sent me photos of someone else's backyard and tried to use those pictures to explain why the gaps were normal. Those photos were not of my property. I understand that wood naturally shrinks as it dries, but the gaps on my fence were already significant, and this was less than a month after installation. Rather than addressing my concerns or offering a reasonable solution, they chose to make excuses and use photos from another project to support their position. I've spent weeks going back and forth trying to resolve this issue, and it's been incredibly frustrating. I expected better communication, honesty, and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing, and I cannot recommend this company.

I'm not very happy with Mark at the moment. I had him change my breaker box in October, and that's fine, but I called him for an issue I was having with my heating system a couple months ago. He came out, charged me $130 for a "Diagnostic", and replaced my thermostat, which cost $40. So, already I was out $170. The heater kept going out. I finally called a heating and air specialist, and they found that the motor was going out. Mark's "diagnostic" was incorrect. I complained that I did not like the thermostat he put in, and wanted a replacement. He said he would charge me $100 to do that. SERIOUSLY? To change out a thermostat that I didn't like to begin with? Now, I can't get my heater to go on, because the thermostat is "SET" at a certain time to go on, and won't go on, even though the house is freezing. I am having a meltdown...this is the third weekend I've been without heat this winter. I'm old, and not in good health. read more

Mark has remodeled 2 houses for me, put new windows in each one, new bathroom sinks, floors, shower, tub and tile. He's worked on air conditioning , painting Plumbing whatever you need he can accomplish it. Mark had the best price on replacing 105 feet of fence and two gates using pressure treated posts, redwood pickets and grass boards. He showed up on time for the estimate and I had it the next day. I had others fence companies come out and give estimates $1500 to $1600 dollars more. He does require a deposit of half down on large projects. Don't let this scare you away. He is very trustworthy and does quality work. I will turn to him in the future for any other projects that come up. read more

For some reason the light and the fan over our stove stopped working a couple of months ago. I checked around and found Marks Handyman Service. Mark looked everything over and found the problem and fixed it. While he was here, we had him put up a new light fixture in our den. He did a great job and cleaned everything up before he left. Nice guy. Came to Hanford to give an estimate, only one contacted who would do that. Made sure I understood what needed to be done to fix my fence and gave an itemized estimate. On day of work showed up exactly on time with two helpers and had the whole fence repaired in a day rather than the 3-4 from other guys. Competitive price. Mark put a 180 foot fence in my backyard. He used quality redwood and screws which made for an extremely sturdy fence. The wood had some planks that had a residue from the rollers at the lumbar yard, and mark corrected the issue by backrolling it with paint to render the issue.
