I missed a fair amount of work because of this and all the repairs for the bad fillings were done without numbing my teeth so each of the appointments were uncomfortable in the extreme. I had a lot of plaque and she was able to help me without hurting me during the cleanings. I've always been pretty squeamish but I'm comfortable when I'm there . Even with my extra cleanings, I did recently get some cavities :( I don't think I was brushing enough after I ate , before I but back in my Invisalign trays . I had Dr. Pinkus for my fillings. I felt NO PAIN . He made sure to throughly numb me , after about 15 minutes of numbing , he quickly and painlessly filled 4 cavities . My appointment was at 11pm I walked out at 1135pm! So quick and efficient. I never wait too long there which is nice, the staff is all friendly and the prices with my insurance are so affordable .

I was explicitly told by the clinical staff that my insurance would likely deny the coverage initially, but that the office would handle the appeal on my behalf. They instructed me to call them if I received any correspondence from my insurance first. When I called as instructed, I was spoken to by an aggressive and unnamed office manager who completely contradicted what the dentist told me, claiming they "don't do any appeals." Throughout the call, she repeatedly condescended to me by calling me "honey." When I politely requested that she speak to me professionally as an adult and refrain from patronizing terms, she abruptly hung up the phone on me. It is completely unacceptable for a manager at a medical practice to: 1. Provide conflicting information regarding treatment plans and insurance billing. 2. Refuse to identify themselves to a patient. 3. Speak condescendingly to patients and hang up when asked for basic respect. This level of disrespect and lack of basic professionalism is alarming. I expect upper management or practice leadership from HS Dental to reach out and address this directly. Potential patients should be wary of how they treat people the moment an issue arises.

I called his office on Tuesday, the 29th for an emergency visit and was granted an appointment at 12N. (July 30,2025) I reached there around 11:30 as I was parking my car I received a call from the receptionist informing me that my appointment had to be rescheduled because they have "equipment problems". I said I am already at the door and all I needed was for him to look at my tooth (10 seconds) to see if I am infected. I was in pain. She agreed and I walked in. There was one patient waiting, she was taken in, and as I am sitting there, two more patients walked in. One after the other they were taken in. The "equipment trouble" was a big lie. I sat there for two hours and finally walked out and called the receptionist and told her how I felt about the situation. She apologised to me. If the Dr. did not want to see me due to any reason, all he had to inform me was he was busy. I went there with an appointment. I always felt that he was very unprofessional and rude and no manners. He is an immigrant like I am. I do not know what I did to him to hate me. He is hungry for MONEY. If you notice, majority of the positive reviewers are all females. In my opinion, you can do well at your job, but if you can't get your patient to relax in the Dental chair, there may be a bigger problem at play. I had some serious sensitivity in a couple of spots so I let her know. After that , I could feel and see she was being super gentle with me and still getting the job done . She gave me some good tips on how to prevent and help the recession in those sensitive spots. She gave me a couple of good tips, 1 being ( and I had never heard of this before) . that I should use my non-dominant hand to brush so I'm not applying too much pressure, totally makes sense. right? She praised me for my home healthcare, which is always a good feeling that what you're doing at home is helping.. I would absolutely recommend Hamida . The front desk were very professional and kind as well. I will come here every six months and pay out-of-pocket for my alternate cleanings . ( I go somewhere else for the alternate six months cleanings where they take my insurance. ). Coming to HS DENTAL is worth every penny & saving your teeth . Maureen gave me the best exam I have ever had at a dentist. She took all the measurements of my mouth, including all the X-rays, and then used this new technology to capture images of my entire mouth. I could then view them on the screen. And gave me an excellent cleaning. Gentle with no pain. Additionally, Dr. Glackin was amazing. He is smart, funny, and gives it to you stright, but does not make you feel bad about anything. When he came in and looked, he went over all of Maureen's work and then checked each of my teeth. I have to go back for some more work, but I will not even give it a thought because they all made me feel so comfortable.
