While we paused, the skies opened up and it started to pour rain. The owner and employees were so friendly, inviting us in and helping to bring the baby stroller our group had with us into the store. We sat down, drank some liquor and spent time with them while we waiting out the downpour. We didn't have the pleasure of trying out the actual charcuterie, but we left with some souvenirs, including saffron, and some wonderful memories of our brief time there.

Make sure you have your green pass or COVID vaccine card to enter the restaurant. Oh. My. Goodness. What an experience. It was our first Michelin star dinner and they definitely delivered! It was so cool sitting at the bar and watching the food prepared in front of us. Servers and chefs were all amazing and explained everything so well. We opted for the Di Martino Tasting menu with wine pairings - essentially 8 courses and 6 wines. In a nutshell, we had: Amuse-bouche del Sea Front (cheese-stuffed pasta with cod), pumpkin orzo with calamari, gemmelli with lentils and clams, penne with tomato sauce and beets, penne with pork shoulder, conchiglione with roast beef, and lastly, La Devozione - their signature spaghetti and best I've had! Among all the panhandlers, a surprising clean and fresh looking restaurant with local roots and global inspiration. Excellent Margherita pizza from its birthplace! You can taste the fresh ingredients and local flavors. Spoke great English and very friendly. Also had this awesome appetizer made out of fried pizza dough!
