My wife stopped by when they were half done installing the vinyl. The installer told her that the underlayment was in bad shape, but it should be ok since it was a rental. It's been a year and a half, and the vinyl is sagging into the shape of the underlayment. It's really a poorly done job. They told me that they had subcontracted the work and that they hadn't looked at the underlayment.
