The water suddenly stopped running in my house - well, not exactly, it would run for a few seconds and then stop. I asked my neighbors and their water was all running fine. Portland Water Bureau said it wasn't their problem. So I called Sutherland Plumbing randomly, and we did some trouble shooting over the phone. It looked like it may be a VERY expensive issue in the pipe between the house and the street. Ti Sutherland found a time to come by, since this was kind of an emergency since we couldn't shower, and he found the problem in just a couple of minutes. Turned out it was only the HOT water that was being stopped, and it was a janky flood prevention device that had been installed with the water heater. The batteries died and it shut off the flow. Replaced the batteries, and boom! We're all fixed. Ti actually got a big kick out of the whole process. Solving problems is his bag. Highly recommend.

He was clear, he could explain everything very intelligently and quickly. He's a fast thinker and a very smart person. It's great talking to him. He's knowledgeable and he looked at some other things which we might do in the future and also explained how to alleviate the problem. I found that by taking both the nozzles off of both of the hoses where they were leaks, It solved the problem because it stopped the water from coming out of the pipe bib. Considering how bad the economic times are in the prices of today they are pretty reasonable or at least decent and not extreme. Everything else is out of control. I feel safe having them in my home and leaving. I know everything will be fine and I really enjoy having them as my plumber because I feel like I have someone I can trust if God forbid there's ever a real emergency. I had to insist for him to continue with the auger then the toilet got unclogged. Coincidentally a small personal item went missing when he left. It happened to be a pouch that looked like there could be jewelry inside. It was in a leather purse. Fortunately there was nothing inside the pouch and nothing else in the purse itself. I was not with him the whole time. There was a moment when he went out and returned with the auger. And the purse and pouch were close by. Hard to say more. But this was my experience.
