The prices looked decent ($8-12 per entree) considering how expensive Indian food can be elsewhere. Anyhow, the restaurant was clean and quiet and service was friendly. We ordered the platter that comes with 3 samplers- a vegetable dish , chicken curry and lentil dal. It wasn't fantastic, but it was pretty good and packed decent spice. I'd consider it more like Indian home cooking than restaurant style, but I would go back if I had a craving for Indian while in Miramichi. However, their naan bread was very thin - not like the puffy, chewy home-baked stuff that's deliciously chewy and soft at the same time. Anyway, I give them credit for offering and serving decent Indian food where those kinds of ingredients are scarce. Now if only they served Chai tea!

The first evening some loud kids were constantly in the hall and closing their door which was really annoying. I wish the window opened a bit more but at least I could open a bit. Breakfast could be better. Coffee was horrible instant coffee machine. I had to go out for coffee. The second morning they were out of many things when I went down for breakfast.

I was there the hotel was pretty much full and it was a bit noisy, but that can be expected in any hotel that it basically at capacity. My room was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the staff were attentive to any requests. The room came with a complimentary self-serve breakfast, complete with scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes. The pancakes were made by a pancake machine - so I had pancakes each morning as the machine was neat. It has a restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner, which has a patio overlooking the water. The view is beautiful It has a very small cardio room with 2 machines and a balance ball. It also has a small pool. I will stay here again when I am in the area. It was a good value for the money, I like having free breakfast, and it was very clean.

A restful night in a great hotel......delivered what we sought…read more A lovely hotel with a great setting. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and the king bed was very comfortable with good pillows. We slept well in a quiet room ....which we had requested and the hotel delivered. The pool whilst small was refreshing apart from two ankle biters who seemed unable to be contained by their keepers. I swam through them and they got the message but their keepers didn't even notice.

NO creativity in the cooking ,mussels were left on an open plate.no seasoning, no garlic sauce. A Goat cheese and Beet salad was really poorly prepared, it was on a 10 inch plate. Had a living room and then a separate area for the king bed. It cost about $90 for the night. Plus the pet cost. We were glad to have a bed and it was nice enough. The biggest downfall was that the bath was clogged so when you were taking a shower, the water wouldn't go down fast enough; creating a big pool of water. It was not nice. They did provide a small brekky with yogurt, cereal, muffins, bagels and coffee. Overall not a bad stay. They are doing renovations so most likely we were put in an old room. 3 floors - next time we know. Lol
