HORRIBLE PHARMACY IF I COULD GIVE LESSS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD !!!!. I came in after an urgent care visit for shortness of breath and asthma due to its urgency I was only in CityMd for less than 20 minutes, but I'spent an hour in Leroy pharmacy just to be denied because their system is not up-to-date. I helped them by going back to the clinic to get a print up of my eligibility. They still denied that | also went into my membership portal that showed them My coverage is active They denied that as well leven gave them a number for them to call based on providers and pharmacies and because it's the weekend they weren't able to get thru but my print up from the medical office and the portal both shown that eligible for visit and pharmacy, if I'm dealing with this and I have private insurance 1199 my bear goes out to those on public insurance in 2026 there is no room for lazy pharmacies that don't have the time to update their systems. If you're acquiring money from the public, you should be putting that back to make each interaction is convenient for everybody. I've never had to pay out-of-pocket my whole life for my insurance, but the only resolution they can come to since their system was inadequate was for me to pay $50 and to get reimbursed for my insurance DO NOT COME HERE Instead, use Walgreens use Parkchester pharmacy I'm always in and out in less than 10 minutes. Especially today Parkchester pharmacy was a huge help. All I had to do was give my information last name date of birth. They found my prescriptions instantly and I was out. Bought a tube of denture cream. Opened it and there was a used tube In the box. Manager owner would not give me a new one. Stating the box was opened. Of course it was opened. I was going to use the cream. Was surprised to see a used tube. Was told to send the tube to the manufacturer, and they will send me a new tube. Meanwhile back at the ranch. my first time there told me I had to wait 15 min and still wasn't ready so they told me to wait another 20 min go by still not ready come back tomorrow. They could've just said that after the first 15 min.The pharmacy part is horrible bad customer service and slow do not recommend read more

I visited Walgreens today and once again the shelves were almost empty ( lotions and bath) and service to open locked merchandise was long. I went to Leroy's pharmacy and wad able to find what I wanted with acceptable prices. I think leroy 's cayers to the needs of the community. read more

I been coming here for years because I figured it'll be more of a hassle to switch. I was wrong it's more of a hassle to stay. The pharmacy answers its phone with an attitude and whenever I show up there's an unorganized line waiting for their medication. Today I waited for 30 mins and when asking for an update they tell me the doctor was busy and he's getting to it now. Just for him to tell me my prescription expired. Zero communication and zero patience on their end. They had me waiting half an hour without checking on my prescription. It's the annoyance I needed to switch, took me long enough. Sadly, I watched the quality of service plummet in the last year. The pharmacist has a serious attitude problem and comes off as though he hates coming to work and dealing with people. Calling ahead for your prescription refill use to be a thing. Now you call, have the pharmacist say "ok come pick it up" only to get there and realize no one bothered to put the order through. Then there is no organization to their service as people are allowed to skip the line past people who have been standing in a gaggle waiting to simply be acknowledged let alone served. I have been going to this specific pharmacy for all my life, yesterday my Dr sent a script to this location and they told me they didn't have the medicine for me. I went also in April to the same answers.I am disabled,and need my medicines. I called today to transfer the script to a different location and was harassed by the worker who claimed I haven't been to the location since 2016. Not only was she demeaning and condescending but with my current disability she refused to assist me with the matters at hand.Sad to say I will not be going to this location anymore and will be inconvenienced finding a new pharmacy . Taking advantage of people in these dire times is a unconscionable. Leroy Pharmacy just received a shipment of Lysol Disinfectant. It is $12.99. The largest can usually cost $7.00 to $8.00. This is price gouging. I walked out of the store, returned home and then contacted the New York State Attorney General's Office in Albany. I suggest that others follow my lead. I used to go here all the time as I am from the neighborhood and grew up here but the other day something just during sit right with me. I know everything is a little crazy now that the COVID-19 is taking lives from so many but, what gives you the right to gang up on me and treat me like an animal. I walked into Leroy Pharmacy as I called the same day to inquire about a Notary. A woman was asked to step back due to the 6ft social distancing rule. She was so shocked because she never had heard of such thing and I need to get passed so I said excuse me. Not until the 4th time did I say excuse me a little louder did I get by and the woman gave me a nasty attitude and cursed at me. As I am upset I'm trying to ask for assistance to know if I am in the correct place to wait for a notary and these people were treating me as if I was the aggressor. This woman was with her daughter who was also yelling at me and everyone within this establishment treated me like I was a problem. And I'm alone only thing I have is the person on the other line of my phone telling me it will be alright. And the Pharmacist told me I have to turn my phone off and do the notary. My own store from my community. I was so humiliated and mistreated. The old pharmacist would of never did that to me. I will never shop here again. read more
