It was hard to just choose a couple of sweets to take away for a mid day snack. I finally settled on something, and they were both yummy - not too sweet, or too dry - just perfect. They even had a little espresso machine here if you wanted to take an espresso away with your treat. Great place to kill your sweet tooth.

By and large everything I've tried has been tasty (and very filling), at a reasonable value for Switzerland. About every 1/10 times I visit, the quality of the meat is a little below par. The desserts and breads here are very good, and there's an excellent selection. There is also a wide variety of sandwiches, with different bread and filling options. Overall this is a great spot to get some takeaway and/or bakery items. As an added bonus, they're even open on Sundays (though not Mondays).

There is a fantastic view overlooking the lake and town from this Tea Room. Everything is fresh and hand made, and the owners are fantastic. One of my favorite visits is when the owner shared with us his home made pumpkin soup that was cooking outside in a large cauldron. That was the best pumpkin soup I have ever had. They also seemed to specialise in Beignets and Cuquettes which are a sweet crispy puff pastry. They had samples and were quiet tasty. They had large and small sizes. I had a small version to take away. It was definitely deliciux, crispy bite and then sweetly melted away like a crispy bite of cloud.

I still prefer the fresh baked bread that I pick up at the bakery in Prangins, but the bread here is good.
