They didn't have much in terms of already picked apples the day I went. The shop keeper said we'd have to get them fresh from the orchard which is not a bad thing. He estimated that Cortland apples would be at their prime in the last week of September (2023) so I might come back then!

Chicken, beef, guinea fowl, veal, porc, quail, duck... all raised without hormone, animal flour and without antibiotics!!! I also got a chance to ask about how the animals were raised and the person assured me that they basically have the life of organic farming just without the organic label. It's very expensive to get it so they prefer to put the money elsewhere, which is ok! You can also find sweet and savoury pies along with prepared homemade meals for you to simply put in the oven. This is my first time trying afghan food and she let me try they different rice they had. I picked the onw that had beef chunks and raisins. Who knew that combination would rock my socks. I also ordered samosas as a side. They are smaller than the Indian samosas but filled with yummy spices. I could have eaten 10 of them. As I was about to leave mango nectar. I thought I would have seconds but ended up eating the whole plate. I will be coming back!

The cheese shop has an excellent varieties of high end cheeses and staples and also has a small grocery section for pastas, canned vegetables, fancy olive oils and vinegars and a cold cut counter.
