Although away from the main city, the restaurant was amazing. Serving traditional northern France…read morefood, it also provides the friendly-yet-formal service expected in the region. The canard in cheese sauce was absolutely fabulous. Although I wasn't thrilled with the creme brûlée (it was a touch overdone), the little extra foods given for free (including amazing bread, a gout de maison and gourmet marshmallows) more than made up for that. We went for a business lunch and had an amazing time!

I have discovered this restaurant thanks to a team meeting and I found it very well…read more First, but you have certainly understood it with my first sentence, you can easily come with a group of people. Then you have several options for main courses at lunch: typical northern french food, meat or fish. I took a marinated chicken brochette and it was delicious, fries are fresh also :) They have Paix Dieu beer and that's not very common. For those who don't know this beer, the Paix Dieu is only brewed during full moon night that makes it a little bit rare. The only 'disappointment' in the meal is the 'café gourmand', the cottage cheese is a little bit strange and the apple pie is not as good as the rest of the meal. Some simpler pastries would do better! Anyway, this little thing shouldn't stop you to try this place I recommend :)

Nous avons opté pour ce restaurant pour notre repas de mariage en octobre 2015 et nous n'avons pas regretté ce choix. Nous avons bénéficié d'une salle privatisée très agréable. Caroline nous a très bien conseillé sur le menu et nous la remercions pour son écoute. Le repas était excellent ! Nous avons pu organiser un petit concert dans la salle avec mon mari qui est musicien. Nous avions fait plusieurs devis pour notre repas de mariage et le rapport qualité/prix du restaurant Les Grillons était le meilleur. Encore merci à toute l'équipe du restaurant ! read more

Excellent! L'accueil est parfait sans être trop guindé, on ne se sent pas mal à l'aise. Le service était impeccable. Chaque plat est pensé du début à la fin, la présentation dans l'assiette est jolie. Quand au repas, tout est bon! Un vrai délice, de la terrine maison en "apero" au gougette de saumon et le cabillaud en croûte de chorizo tellement fondant. Et pour terminer une farandole de dessert! Malgré tout cela, j'ai bien mangé mais je ne me sens pas gavée. Étant invitée, je n'ai pas d'avis par rapport au prix. read more

Nous avons découvert ce restaurant pour la Saint Valentin ce dimanche midi ,UN REGAL ? cadre très agréable , serveur très discret et trés attentifs , cuisine alors là un déliceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee nous avons adorez trés bon rapport qualité prix à refaire assez vite , felicitatios à toute l'equipe et au cuisinier à tres bientot. read more

I certainly agree with traditional - there wasn't a single innovative dish on the menu of the day, and my boyfriend and I tried all eight of them (starters, mains and desserts). Think: shrimp in sauce, some very disgusting pate, cod in a bland sauce with white rice, lamb with quinoa salad, butternut squash soup, caramel dessert. Full of flavour? See above - bland sauces, several dishes undersalted, boring boring boring. The waitress was efficient but nearly disastrous in her clipped manner - wine drops on tablecloth, knocking my boyfriend's chair while serving another table, nearly spilling a glass of wine. It wasn't all bad - the amuse bouche was good, the spoonful of pistachio ice cream that came with one of the desserts was excellent, as were some of the caramel parts of the other dessert. But overall it was very uninventive and expensive (130 euros for lunch), and not deserving of a Michelin star in my book.
