I was sad they did not have any venecek, but they did have many other options for sweet lovers, from cookies, donut type desserts, to cakes, lollipops and everything seemed to be made right there in their back kitchen. I love the decoration and ambiance of this place off the bat. Walking in here is like walking into a familiar friends country house even if you have never been here. I never went there for coffee but they do have a well-equipped bar with all kinds of alcoholic beverages and Gambrinus 11° Excellent on tap which you rarely get anywhere unfortunately. Try this coke once and you will never ever want to have regular sugary coca-cola coke ever again. I once had a sandwich there and I didn't really enjoy it too much - it was pretty bland tastewise and just not something I would order again. Other than that, this place is amazing and absolutely worth visiting for an hour or so when you are waiting for your movie to start n one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world, the Lucerna. Staff is very friendly and bilingual. Service and quick and they are on top of things here. I got a latte and it was delicious. I also tried a panini (mozz, pesto and tomato). All the ingredients were fresh and it was delicious. The panini and the latte only cost 120 crowns! Only real downfall here was the smoking that is allowed inside. Not even just the guests but also the staff...and while "working." Sadly since the place is small you can't get away from it and easily end up smelling like smoke after leaving. Overall though I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, friendly environment and delicious coffee and fresh snacks. I would go back if I wasn't so disgusted by smoking!
