      Situé en plein cœur du vieux Tours, proche de la cathédrale, nous vous proposons de venir vous régaler autour de nos spécialités de viandes, natures ou marinées avec des épices du monde entier, à faire cuire sur des pierres à griller ou dans différentes fondues. Attention, tous nos plats sont préparés sur place avec de la viande de qualité livrée par notre boucher et découpée par nos soins. Ils sont servis avec des frites maison, c'est-à-dire lavées et cuites sur place, de la salade verte épluchée sur place à partir de vrai salade poussée dans la terre, ainsi qu'une sauce maison à choisir parmi toutes les sauces préparées elles aussi sur place et avec nos petites mains. Une petite touche de pays basque en plus vous est proposé au travers de la décoration ainsi que la charcuterie de qualité de la maison Pierre Oteiza. Pour parfaire le tout, et parce que nous considérons que le vin est un élément important du repas, vous retrouverez une large gamme de vins plus ou moins complexe afin

Le lieu est un peu baroque avec des banquettes rouges. Découvrez un mur de peintures de maîtres avec notamment des tableaux de Van Gogh. Même le plafond, un ciel bleu nuit a été magnifié par une artiste peintre qui s'est inspirée de l'œuvre du Petit Prince de Saint Exupéry avec des motifs peints. Et au moment de l'addition jetez un oeil à la caisse enregistreuse qui date de 1890! Ce décor haut en couleur contraste avec une carte très simple. Au menu 3 plats : fondue savoyarde, bourguignonne et pierrade au bœuf (pas de raclette). La cuisine est très spécialisée afin de proposer une qualité optimale. L'assiette est généreuse avec 300 grammes de bœuf par personne. Tout y est fait pour se régaler. This is part of a chain of places. The menu is pretty extensive and they have menu plans that seem to save a little money. I got an 18 euro for the plat and dessert. The plat was pork andouillette sausage with green beans. The portions were large. The pork was 240 grams. It was a bit fatty and a nice bit of spice. The outside was grilled with a hint of char. They also provide a very nice gravy to dip it into. I liked everything very much but could not finish. The chocolate mousse was pretty good. Better than some in Paris. I liked the texture. I had a 37.5 cl bottle of Chateau des Tours Beaujolais for 13.9 euro that was OK. I normally do not like Beaujolais much but thought I would try it. Sevice was OK and they have an English copy of the menu. Pay as you leave. The whole meal was 32.60.

They did not have an English menu and the staff spoke about as much English as I speak French (a couple basic phrases and that's about it). Our server was very patient with us and definitely put forth effort to meet us part way when it came to communicating even though he didn't have to. Fortunately since it's Lebanese food, most of the names are pretty similar between French and English. I had the chicken kebab plate and my husband ordered the lamb kebab plate. It came with rice and tabbouleh salad. I've been to a fair share of Middle Eastern restaurants and this was the best chicken kebab I've had. I absolutely recommend eating here but maybe look at the menu on their website ahead of time if you don't speak French so you know what you want. 5 stars.
