Ohhhhhh my Goooooooood!!!!! This is one of the best things of living Montreal's summer! And yes... We can say that summer is right across the street. It's just a matter of time. Ok... First Fridays au Parc Olympic... Are you sure you need to read the reviews?! Come on! The best food trucks ever... All in one (colourful sunny happy) place! You'll find anything to eat... Lobster, oyster, pizza, hot dogs, raclette, ribs, pulled pork, bagel, waffle, ice cream... Such a variety, I just can't remember everything. ETK... This is a MUST DO during your stay in Montreal. Definitely.

I attended Monkland village's yearly festival and immediately zoomed to this food truck due to from…read moreprevious reviews. Also I'm truly a sucker for pulled pork sandwiches. The price-tag was decent, only $6! So I grabbed one and got some lemonade to go with it.... and disappointed would be an understatement after my first bite. Sure it looked appealing with lots of meat but the taste/sauce was pretty plain to me. It lacked character and emotion... ultimately I felt forced to eat so mediocre and once I ended up halfway into the sandwich... look at that... no more meat... just lots of salad leafs though? I've had a lot of pulled pork in my life and this didn't hold its ground at all. And the lemonade? It was pretty watered down. This was shameful. I consequently helped myself to some homemade lemonade down the street at Ben & Jerry's... which was made completely in front of me. Delicious.... Perhaps a bad day but not a good experience. All in all, a solid 2.

The addition of lettuce also adds an extra "crunch" factor at each bite, DELICIOUS! Service: Quick, nice, and gave tons of napkins for the drippings hihi Price: Well worth the price!

Le Roi du Taco in Montreal is a great spot for anyone craving flavorful Mexican food. On my visit,…read moreI had the Tortilla Soup, which was fantastic--crispy tortilla chips in a rich broth with sautéed tomatoes and guajillo chili. It came with guacamole, cheese, and sour cream, adding the perfect creamy balance to the heat. Speaking of guacamole, they sell it (and other goodies) in a mini store section at the back of the restaurant, so you can take some home! The caramel-filled churros here are also a highlight--crispy on the outside, warm and gooey with caramel inside. They're hands down my favorite churros in Montreal. The tacos are fresh and flavorful, with a great variety of options, and the guacamole, which you can buy to go, is creamy and fresh. Service is friendly, and while it can get a little noisy during busy times, the overall experience is worth it. If you're in Montreal, definitely check this place out for a tasty taco and churro fix! An underwhelming experience. We got the Carne, Suadero, Pastor, and Carnitas Tacos. The Suadero…read morewas strangely sour but had the best flavor. The Carne was solid. The Pastor had a slight ketchup-y taste. The Carnitas was quite dry and salty. There was a miscommunication issue: we tried to order one taco of each meat since we were already pretty stuffed but they brought out 4 of each (16 total). It was expensive too at around $4.5/taco after tax and tip. Even though the tacos weren't particularly good, we still took them back to the hotel...
