I had borrowed a family members truck while mine is in the shop. On our way to Island Park, I had a blow out in McCammon. Got that one fixed there. Got just out side of Saint Anthony when the second one blew out. Limped in to Les Schwab and expected to wait a long while. Walked in and told them what I needed and they got 4 new tires on and swapped the tire I got previously to the spare tire wheel and put the spare back in the holder. They had me out of there in about an hour and a half. No appointment, no hassle. Just fast, easy and trouble free help when I really needed it. Highly recommend this place. On our way to Yellowstone, we got a flat on our Class A RV in Ashton, I called this place and spoke with CJ who was so very helpful in getting us a tire they don't carry. Mike came out and got us on the road. My husband is a truck driver so he was hovering over Mike like a hawk and was so pleased with his quality of work. We left there comfortable knowing he did his job well. After a week we were heading home and decided to get new tires for the 1000 mile road trip home to California. I called CJ to make sure they could get the tires and received a call that evening from Mike saying he had them and would get us on the road asap the next morning. We had a blowout on our toy hauler and stopped by the Les Schwab tire center in St. Anthony to get a new spare. They didn't have the exact tire but replaced it with a better quality one for $20 more but they didn't charge us for labor so it ended up being the same amount. It only took them about 30 minutes--not bad considering we didn't have an appointment. And they we were very nice. read more

We had a blow out on I-90 fortunately we had a spare. Unfortunately, the trunk was full of luggage and other travel stuff. The St Anthony's Les Schwab had a suitable replacement. When we got the garage, CJ (maybe the manager or lead for the shop) was very helpful dealing with all our stuff from the trunk, getting the new tire on in under a half an hour of our appointment time. The Saint Anthony, ID location continues the experience. I can't speak highly enough about CJ and his attention to detail and focus on customer care. After busting a rim while pulling my 5th wheel towards Yellowstone, I was in need of help. I called CJ before hours Monday morning and he jumped to action. I was visiting family in island park and started having tire issues so this les Schwab was the closest tire shop and was recommended from the repair guy in IP. I see why. These guys were very helpful. the front office gal was very helpful and prompt and when I asked if they had a shuttle she got me the managers keys to his pickup truck to take while they were doing the tires. Such a kind gesture you don't get from big box stores. It reminded me why it is so important to support the local shops. I highly recommend this shop and their customer service is unmatched. This is why I buy my tires from Les Schwab! We were driving our truck and 5th wheel on vacation from California. I noticed that one of my trailer tires was very low after our last overnight stop. After a quick fill up of air we were an hour or so from the Les Schwab in St. Anthony Idaho. My wife called them and they said just stop by and they will look at it. We I got there and after I checked in, a very nice worker named CJ came out to help us. After a visual inspection, he quickly had the tire off and was in the shop fixing it. Turned out to be a leak from the stem valve. CJ had the tire back on in 10 minutes and we were on our way. I can't thank CJ and this Les Schwab location enough. Vacation continued! read more

We got a flat coming home from Yellowstone. One of the few tire shops that had our tire size in stock. CJ took care of us the second we pulled up and we were on our way again in less than an hour. CJ even put the spare back into the van for us in the center floor which was a tricky and tedious task. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. While my wife and I were returning from a trip to Michigan with pickup and travel trailer in tow, my pickup developed a a severe rattle in the front end suspension. We pulled off the freeway at St Anthony on hwy 20 and the noise was so severe that I was worried to travel any further. We had stopped near a Les Schwab tire. The guys lifted the pickup up and and found one bolt was missing on the brake caliper. they removed the remaining bolt ( which was about to fall out} to a local hardware store to match it up. He assembled the truck and I was ready to travel. All of the efforts and materials were performed as a courtesy with no charge to me. The employee's were wonderful. read more

Buyer BEWARE!! Having grown up with Les Swab's in my home town and places I've lived. It has always been if there was a problem they took responsibility. What I'm about to tell you is far from what the Lew Swab store St. Anthony's Idaho had done. Just last week July 3rd, 2017 at 1000 hours (10AM), having just left the Walmart store heading to Yellowstone. A flatbed trucker having had hay as a load, hit a bump. Sending all the debris into the air, causing our vision to be diminished drastically. Switching lanes to see the road, we encountered on our 5th wheel trailer on the driver's side a tire blowout. Immediately, I turned on my emergency flashers and got off the side of the road to the right. Knowing our tires were installed with TYRON bands. I wasn't too worried about damages. Walking around the trailer, I saw our fresh water being drained. Shutting it off, I continued to examine the trailer. Seeing that the tire had caused some damage to the under body, and fender. I was concerned it may have damaged our suspension. Calling roadside assistance. They dispatched the call, only when we were called back. The service wouldn't be able to get to us for 45 minutes to 1 hour. That call came in at 1130 hours. (11:30AM). I Decided to see if there were any America's Tires locally. Nothing within 100 miles. The closest was Les Swab half a mile away. I called their shop and they could have a service tech onsite within minutes. I explained I was concerned that our suspension could have been damaged. The young lady on the phone stated. The tech will be able to determine that once he arrives. Within in 5 minutes, the tech arrived. He looked at the tire. I asked him if he thought it was drivable or should we have it towed? The tech stated it was fine from his point and with that, he commenced to changing out the tire. Once completed, I stated we needed to get a new tire so we'd have a spare. He said to follow him back to the shop. After arriving parking. This is where it became a game of guess what and who. Meaning what was going to happen. Then by whom was going to do what. The tech started to look at the tires more closely, and was describing to me that all the tires were separating from the center. Not around the outside, but rather were the wear bars were and tread. I didn't know that could happen. But I'm not a tire expert either. With that in mind, I did not want to take off with tires in poor shape. How could that be, they were only 1 year old as was the trailer. So we decided to buy 4 new tires. Having issues with our TYRON bands not being able to be reinstalled. We took the chance of having them all taken out. (Later I would call the CEO of TYRON). At this point and time, I wanted to get back to driving. Now the service tech who came out originally, left on another service call. Leaving the other techs in the shop to finishing breaking down the tires and reinstalling time and finally mounting them onto the trailer. While all they were working on the tires. I asked specifically had anyone inspected the suspension and if it was drivable? The tech finishing the job stated he did and so did the other tech and our trailer was good to drive. We paid our bill and left it was about 1600 hours (4PM). THIS WAS NOT TRUE. Fact is our trailer was unsafe to drive due to serious damage to our suspension system. Fast forward to July 7th 2017 Washington Utah, and once again at a Walmart. We were letting our service dogs out to pee, since it was grassy not pavement and 115 degrees. We had just left Mt. Rushmore, Cheyenne and Denver heading home. It was about 1430 hours (2:30PM), while I was inside the trailer. I heard someone telling my wife "Your left trailer tire is low on air". Walking out, my wife started to tell me about the tires being low with air. I just had them checked by at a truck stop. So, I began to walk to the left side of the trailer. When an older gentleman in a truck wearing a Chevron shirt stepped out and said that our tires looked low on air. He began to hand me his air gauge, when he stopped. Knelt down and said. "Your tires are worn" Seriously worn". I replied "WORN? They're new! 4 days old to be exact." At this point I thought to myself this guy out to make money. However, once he crawled under the trailer and was looking at the suspension. He said, "Let me show you something", he pulled 5 business cards from his pocket. Sliding them up and under a head of a bolt. "That is not supposed to happen" he said. Todd he introduced himself. I said that's not good. We just left Camping World. He said take it back to them, then suggested we come to his shop and he'd tighten it up to get us on our way. So we packed back up and drove back to his shop, where he met us. Had us park, while he started to inspect fully. We put the dogs in the trailer so they could eat. End the end. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I Will be ensuring they are on "DO NOT CONTACT"list read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! Imagine for a moment. You and your family are on the vacation you've dreamed of for years. You're touring Yellowstone National Park in your RV! Your have set your eyes on the massive Bison, Moose lounging in the grass, Pronghorn frolicking in the fields. You've even spotted a Bald Eagle! How majestic to be in our countries 1st National Park!! Your trip has come to an end and you're all packed up. You've created lifetime memories with your wife and kids. Life is good! Now, your exiting Yellowstone through the West Entrance and the unforeseen happens. You have a tire blow out. Who do you call? Les Schwab, of course! You call for service and the lady quotes you a price for the tire and worst case scenario, 3 hours of labor. You are told if it does not take this long that the price will be adjusted. You're ready to get on the road so you and your son jack the RV up and take both tires off. The tech gets there and all he has to do is pop the new tire on, it takes him 27 minutes. He gives you a paper to sign, which you do, thinking it's the service ticket. But, it's the receipt, they've already charged your card the total amount. How did they know how long it was actually going to take? You say, "Hey, wait a minute. It didn't take you 3 hours!" The tech says that's the charge, slams his truck door in your face and drives away. Ok. Maybe this is some disgruntled employee that doesn't like his job. You'll call the next morning and talk to his manager. Wait, that was the manager?! You call his district manager and he tells you he can't go over his head. Wait, isn't this guy his manager?! You call corporate. They too, are unwilling to help!!!! What happened to customer service? What happened to "The customer is always right"? Higher ups. You should read " How to Win Customers and Keep Them for Life". Then, pass it down the chain of command. We will not be returning customers! We decided to replace 4 additional tires for safe measure and purposely drove over 100 miles passing your stores along the way and gave our business to an HONOST company! Yellowstone visitors and other passerbys should think twice about using this company. Unless, you're itching to be taken advantage of, that is! read more
