called into taylor to get a part number for a fuel pump on my truck. i'm not interested in there $860 fuel pump so i just wanted the part number to order the gm genuine online for $320. apparently they don't give out part numbers here never in my life have i called a "STEALERSHIP" and not been given a part number. absolute joke read more

I was in Rexburg for an eye appointment when my Chev Tahoe started making a bad noise. My eyes had just been dilated and I couldn't see anything, so I asked my wife to find the Chevrolet dealership. I asked for help and Justin Grove came out, figured out the most likely problem (dry power steering pump), and patched us up enough to get home to Wyoming without any charge! If you want the bottom line about this dealership, well, skip to the bottom... I was up in the area for my nieces college graduation and since my son goes to the same college, I thought it was time to surprise him and get him his first car. My sister, my son and I were actually on our way down to Idaho Falls or even back to her hometown of Logan Utah to look for cars when we drove by this dealership. We first stopped by the Toyota dealer up the street and they didn't have a good selection so we gave Taylor a try. I have to tell you that I'm from Los Angeles and the sales people down here gather like vultures when you drive up and I've never liked that. After a few minutes of walking the lot, Kent Hillman approached us wearing a basic collard shirt and jeans, a much more approachable attire than the stuffy tie and slacks that I'm used to here in Southern California. He was easy to talk to and listened to our needs. He was very willing to let us go and check out other cars, but we didn't need to. There was no way I was going to walk away from the verbal agreement I got on a great looking four year old car with only 25,000 miles on the odometer. Kent took all of the information needed to get us financed, kept checking in on us during the long credit check pause, and eventually came back saying, "We're Ready". I thought he meant that we were ready for the wheeling-and-dealing part, ready for that stupid piece of paper where we both write down numbers and talk about a down payment until an agreement is made. But NO! We were ready! I mean ready to sign the papers and go home! No down payment. No price haggling. No pushy useless EXTRAS added to the contract! We were Done! It's the little things that matter to me and I told Kent something that I didn't like while we were outside talking about the car. When the car was all cleaned up and brought out to the front, I noticed that he took care of the little something that I didn't like. He paid attention to my concerns, and that goes a long way in my book. I will tell you right now, up front and honest, that I would again drive from Los Angeles California to Rexburg Idaho to purchase a car from these people. This was actually the FIRST time that I have NO buyers remorse after purchasing a car. Thanks guys for showing me that there are still some decent car salespeople out there. read more

We recently lost a tire on a Corvette over the weekend. Tires for these vehicles are seldom, if ever, in stock anywhere but in the largest markets. The fellows at Taylor Chevrolet, in particular, Jose Benitez and Kellen Birch the service manager could not have possibly, provided any better service. Jose located a set of tires, had them shipped for installation the following day, and Kellen agreed to then drive the vehicle three hours to an airport where we could easily pick up the vehicle two days later. Jose also arranged for a one way rent-a-car, as we did not have the luxury of waiting for the car to be repaired, and sent us on our way. The service, the pleasant attitudes, the clean bright facility could not have been better. Thanks again, Jose and Kellen.
