I also tried the "cold potato salad with hake ("ensaladilla de merluza"), and it was SUPERB! I also tried other tapas, but these two were unforgettable. By the way, I am also skeptical about Alicante wines, but tried the house red wine from Alicante: another pleasant surprise. We paid 20€ for 3 tapas and four drinks, which I think is totally affordable. The waiters are super friendly and nice. By the way, on Fridays and Saturdays the place is crowded... if you want a quiet dinner there, weekdays are better.

The place opened at 1pm and shortly after, the small place was quickly filled up with patrons. I do believe there is a connecting room with more tables (maybe for the dinner crowd). We ordered the grilled octopus and the grilled scallops. But were extremely tender and you could taste the freshness of the seafood. We also got the fried eggplant sticks which was pretty good, but we had better elsewhere in Malaga Spain. My son got two meat sliders which he also devoured. All in all, great local place with local patrons and a must recommend.

Not the way we do in the states so missing some garlic and more sauce. But it has good cheese and a nice crisp. They use oregano instead of basil. Can't add veggies like spinach and they don't have garlic powder. :/
