Terrific organically sourced menu. We had the daily specials of lamb and beef bavette (flank/skirt) steak which were excellent along with fresh grilled vegetables. We also had excellent desserts and cappuccinos in a contemporary rustic setting in the heart of the Laurentians. Attentive and friendly service.

    Full rack of ribs

Very nice selection of dishes on the menu. The bbq ribs were tender and smoky, and the grilled scallops with crab risotto was nicely executed with its subtle flavors. I preferred the red sangria over the white sangria but overall I had a wonderful meal. Service was on point and courteous. A great choice if you are in the area.

Perfectly layered lattes with choice of fresh grated cinnamon and chocolate.

The service was not good. People that came in well after us got there food before us. Our waitress was definitely overwhelmed and getting clumsy as a result. She knocked a woman's purse off her chair and a glass of water over. She was forgetting things and just seemed overwhelmed. When we finally got our meals they weren't good. I ordered the filet mignon with butterfly shrimp. The shrimp was split open but still had the shell / legs on it. I don't believe the steak was actually a filet and was definitely overcooked. I had ordered potatoes too in lieu of fries and never received them. I asked the waitress about them. She apologized and said they would be right out but I never got them. They were on the bill and I had asked that they be removed. My daughter and boyfriend's meals were just ok. No real flavor. Overall it was disappointing and overpriced for un flavorful food. I would not go back or recommend.

We were seated immediately by a friendly waitress. I got the Tom Collins drink, which was great, and my husband was recommended a really great red wine (I don't recall the name). He got the 4 course dinner (fantastic deal for the money) and I ordered a half rack of ribs. My ribs were very good, but a bit fatty. His dinner was incredible. It started off with one of the best french onion soups I have ever had. It was the perfect appetizer for the cool winter. His main course was filet mignon, which was tender and perfect. Dessert was delicious - apple crumble with ice cream. Loved this place!

They said it closed and that they were better. Well, at least they were confident with the place and their food. The place look really nice with some great theming. But the buffet was generic. Just some normal breakfast items and some special stuff like ham and turkey. It's good, but nothing really to ride home about. Next time, I'll go back to the village to the real crepe place that everyone loved instead of the place that tried to take its former location and glory.

Inside there are booths for more intimate dining, although large parties are also able to be accommodated. The Boursin chaud appetizer was the highlight of my meal, and the drinks menu is adequate for a variety of meal choices. The meal went down quickly after the appetizers, sadly. Water service was slow and then non-existent, empty glasses were not removed, and when the food arrived, it was cooked poorly. Duck dishes were dry and oversalted, the flatbread had raw dough in the center, and the pasta dish was poorly dressed. When dessert arrived, it was tiny, tasted bad, and was not a nice end to the 3 hour meal. So, while there is potential, the staff needs to have adequate numbers to handle the diners for the restaurant to get more stars. But don't give up, try it yourself when it's not a holiday, and come prepared to relax over a long meal with friends and family.

The ribs were old, the chicken filets were glorified nuggets, the Bangkok salad hasd the same chicken nuggets, and sweet chili pepper sauce poured all over it. This location has a patio, a bar area with a fireplace, an upstairs area, a takeout counter and a main dining area. Those who are not familiar with St Hubert might not know how good this chain is, but for people living in Quebec or New Brunswick (maybe Ottawa too?), the chicken here is legendary. The hot chicken sandwich is my favourite, and if you get it with dark meat, the flavour is even better. The dark sauce they use is so good. They also are known to have 'Table D'Hôtes', which are all in one meals that include the main dish, desserts and soup, all for one price. They have so many varieties of dishes that it really is worth getting this meal combo. At lunch, the prices are even better, so if you're hungry at that time of day, you can get a really delicious meal for a good price. Another specialty is their Chef's choice lunch meal (le choix du Rotisseur), which is on their take out menu. You either get a leg or breast of chicken with fries, bread, coleslaw, and dipping sauce, and because you don't make the choice, the meal is less expensive than it would normally be. The desserts are worth mentioning because they are delicious. One of the best is the chocolate mousse cake or the sunday, made with hard vanilla ice cream and a choice of either fudge or sugar cream (sucre à la crème) sauce. It's probably the best thing on the menu, so I highly recommend it. The service at this particular location is very good, and the waitresses seem good natured. If I ever go back to Saint Sauveur, for whatever reason, I most likely will stop by the St Hubert restaurant there. Too bad they don't have any locations in Toronto because if they did, I'd eat there all the time. It's part of the culture of Quebec and if you don't know what to order, a good quarter chicken meal with fries is always a safe bet. Bon appétit!

The only comment I have is to go there earlier so you can sit by the window and enjoy the nice view from sunset to the night. I have to say food is good but not wonderful, however we didn't complain about it and as an Asian, we are harsh on food. :P The price point is not friendly, but hey, if you are going there for vacation, just enjoy the time there.

I don't know why this restaurant gets such poor reviews on Google... Maybe they've got the wrong…read morerestaurant!! The decor is stylish with turquoise and walnut themed tables and chairs. I'm sure it's lovely during the daytime when you can see the lake in front of the restaurant. The layout is great because they have square tables for two set on an angle in front of the windows overlooking the lake so that people can sit beside each other instead of opposite to each other. The restaurant concept is steaks and seafood cooked on heated stones. The grills are from the company called Black Rock Grill, hence the restaurant name, Rok. We arrived for the time of our reservation and we're promptly seated and our waitress came over right away to ask us what we wanted something to drink and brought over the drink menu. I ordered a virgin mojito and it has all the ingredients but has more lime juice in it. Right after we ordered she brought over for mini warm ciabatta buns with butter. These are so good, it's tempting to eat a bunch. They will bring you more if you ask for it. Our appetizers came shortly after. The smoked duck Caesar salad was light and packed with flavour! The crab cake was quite rich and fairly filling. The outside was crispy and there was a generous slather of mayonnaise to accompany it. I kinda regretted ordering something so filling cause I was already getting full even before the mains came out. My favourite part of the meal was having the steak sizzling on the hot stone. The servers recommended to us to remove the steak from the stone and place it on the plate beside to avoid overcooking the steak. They equip you with a sharp steak knife so when you're ready, just cut thin slices of meat and sear it on the hot stone before eating. I chose the ostrich meat as a special treat and it was well seasoned and didn't need extra seasoning or sauce. The ostrich meat tasted a bit like a blend of beef and duck and was very tender despite me cooking them completely. The Manhattan steak had a little bit of tendons/fat which needed to be cut out and it lacked flavour. Each meat came with a red wine dipping sauce. To my delight, the roasted veggies were served in that tiny cast iron skillet! A side of creamy mashed potatoes was served piped in a hollowed-out potato. Since it was my birthday they brought two pieces of chocolate brownies with a large sparkler to my table. I ordered the tonka bean creme brulee and it was really nice. The Sortilege cut the sweetness a little bit but I found that it gave a slightly bitter taste. The pineapple cheesecake was a crustless whipped cheesecake with passion fruit sorbet and pineapple on the inside. It's a very delicate dessert, only lightly sweetened and refreshing. We tried to finish the brownies but by then we had way too much food! Overall a fantastic, satisfying experience and I would go back again anytime when I'm staying at the Esterel resort!
