I came in here after a long walk around the park nearby as I fancied a nice brew. When I went in I could tell immediately that this was one of those workmen cafes where the tea is strong and there is always a cheap newspaper lying about. I thought it was a pretty standard sized café; lots of places to sit, including outside the front on nice days. The menu is fairly simplistic and has a range of drinks, sandwiches and breakfast meals. I just ordered a large cup of tea and a chocolate bar and sat down. I thought that the prices were really cheap. The staff were fairly pleasant, but did not seem to have time for any chit chat, as they were busy tidying and preparing things behind the counter. My tea was good and the chocolate bar was good too. Overall, a standard little café. read more
