Located Alcester Road, Moseley Village. Beautiful cafe with large windows. America style. Was meeting Victoria for lunch. The place we had planned to go did not open till later. So Cafefilia it was. I had walked past this cafe a lot and never thought about going in. How stupid I feel now We both orderd chicken panini. Pick what bread you want from the few types they have at the front. It's made to order not ready made from fridge and just warm up panini/sandwhich They have cakes too, and me seeing chocolate cake I had to get a slice. It was so good. It's one of the best I've had. Finished it all. Bad idea when you have a big panini on the way. I knew I wasn't going to finish panini but it showed up and was a lot bigger than I expected. Panini was amazing, lots of fillings that some chicken were falling off. I could not finish though. I went back for cup of tea and that slice of cake recently. I'm a fan of this lovely cafe. Glad Victoria picked this place. Free wi-fi, great panoramic view of Moseley Village, slice of cake and tea. What more do you want? Get yourself down to this place.

Cool, cosy cafe in the heart of bohemian Moseley village. Very popular, yet with a high turnover, so we managed to get the seat of our choice by the window (seating at the back is quite dingy). Excellent choice of cakes, toasties, salads and tea - loads of Tea Pigs to choose from. I had a cheese and ham croissant to start - the cheese wasn't quite melted, which upset me. I'm very particular about my cheese. Tea was served in fun, bright mugs. My chai latte wasn't quite sweet enough and too milky for my taste. Though they have a range of non dairy options including soya and almond. What we thought was carrot cake turned out to be banana and pineapple cake. It was moist and nutty, with a hint of cinnamon - very satisfying. The cafe is slightly drafty but when the door was shut, the temperature was perfect. Overall, this is a solid cafe choice in Moseley.

A small flat white and small cappuccino for £6 total is a rare find these days and we both loved our drinks. So much flavour and nice, strong coffee. My only reason for giving 4 stars is that the layout was a bit cramped and it was slightly lacking in customer service. If you're just popping in for a takeaway coffee though, this is a fab spot.

I knew I'd love this place as when I walked in, the smell of roasting coffee flew into my nostrils, Faculty literally had me at hello. So more about this love affair, the coffee is brilliant, the cakes taste fantastic and the tea is a relaxing and soothing as the cute little tea pot suggests. The staff working were friendly and happy to offer advice (to me and another customer who had 21 questions about the origin of the coffee) - credit where credits due, the young chap answering knew the answer to every question! They are also linked to next door, a sandwich shop which is perfect for lunch and you can even order from one side and go and sit in the other or vice versa. Owned by the same husband & wife partnership and matched with the same awesome decor. It's not often I'm in Birmingham but one thing for sure is this fling is sure to continue every time I venture in!

The owner was super nice and loved my kinda American accent even though he thought I was Australian at first..lol.. I asked if they had scones and he said yes! With clotted cream and jam and fresh strawberries he asked....yes ! I said. Perfect mid morning snack in England. It looked amazing and boy have I missed these . I also got a nice cappuccino made with their mild roast and it was so perfectly brewed. I should be having tea with a scone but I could pass up the freshness of the coffee The scone was delicious, the cream was nice and rich and the jam was not jelly! I loved the fresh strawberries on top too. Ate every bit of this up. The Brit's do scones the best. The cafe was a lovely local place with a nice breakfast menu with basics and some other desserts. Just a lovely place to get a strong brew and a traditional scone! Just what I was looking for.

It is pretty cosy inside but that adds to the charm. As the name suggests the coffee is wonderful as well. I've visited for afternoon tea and cake too which were great value. The business also provides a tea and coffee emporium stocking everything for the caffeine lover. The extra friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you decide on the perfect coffee bean for you and then grind to take away. They also have a car park to the rear which is extremely helpful when driving to Shirely.
