I chose Junk King when I was cleaning out my Mom's house because they advertised that they would…read moredonate usable items to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. Cleaning out her house was a heart-wrenching experience and it was nice to find someone to help with the process. Unfortunately, the way they loaded the truck made me realize that the trash and donatable items were all mixed together and consideration was not given to what could be donated. They didn't even look at the items I had boxed up and just threw them on the truck. When I contacted Junk King about my disappointment I was told that Goodwill didn't take many items anymore. The messaging on their website did not match my expectations for what would happen to the items that I hired them to remove. If you want to donate some of your items I recommend you not use Junk King.
