Thank you 716 Limo for the most wonderful experience celebrating my mother in laws 80th birthday. Our driver Walter was awesome. He was knowledgeable, personable, fun, courteous and on time for all our stops. Walter definitely helped to make a lifetime memory for our family. The parking lot was not well lit and the pavement was in poor repair at the location of her fall. I have tried to have contact with the general manager Chris Reigle but was referred to a Victoria who handles insurance claims. We have contacted her 5 or 6 times and have received no response. My wife had medical expenses of $41,500 from a broken nose, both arms broken, a head concussion and facial damage. Before we hire an attorney we would like to settle out of court. The building is easy to access from the highway. For your nexus appointment, they will require a print out of your booking confirmation in order to enter the building. You also need your passport and second piece of id (i.e. driver's license). Once inside, the waiting room was spacious with a bathroom. I was actually called in early for my appointment. The interview was more informative than questioning on the Canadian side. They also seemed to be adhering to a tight schedule so they offered me a pass to help get me across the border for the second half of the interview. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience. The border guard was great (been doing the job for 24 years) and I would recommend this location to get your Nexus card.

Then, head outside and follow the yellow line to Door #2 where you wait again in another waiting room to be called for an interview. This place loses a big star for not having private rooms. As we sat in the waiting room we all heard an officer ask one of the applicants about their criminal history and we could hear what he divulged--not cool. Also, they may ask you when was the last time you were in a specific city in the U.S. even though they have all of that information on the screen in front of them--they're testing your honesty! If you're a new applicant, you have to meet with both a U.S. Homeland Security officer and a CBSA (Canadian) officer. Former and existing Nexus cardholders only need to meet with a U.S. officer. Your new Nexus card will be in the mail within 7-10 business days.

Double Check, Double Check, Double check your flights when booking!! I booked with Southwest because I love that you get (2 checked bags included) when you are an over packer like myself it can save you $$ and I like the option of picking your seat. But..... this time, I let someone book it for me (my mother) not realizing until I was getting ready to leave for my trip, that the "total travel time" to get from Buffalo to Philly was over 8 hours. I departed from Buffalo at 5:30am and did not land in Philly until after 2pm. They took me from Buffalo to Orlando to go back up to Philly ‍I was with my dog and it ended up in a horrible day of travel. Pick your battles!!! (Let your Agent help you avoid unnecessary travel) I ended up flying a day later to avoid another 9 hours of travel. Instead it was only 4 hours. read more
