I don't think there are words that can praise Jasmine as much as she deserves. From our initial contact she was warm and welcoming, my husband and I were getting married in Palm Springs but we live in NY so we were rather nervous not knowing who to choose. Jasmine captured our vibe perfect from our engagement shoot. We expressed to her we were not the kind of couple to do like the "hand on his chest and stare into his eyes while clasping hands" - we wanted it to be as natural and candid as possible. Boy did she NAIL IT. She took us to a tequila bar and all she asked was that we hang out with each other like we would if she weren't there. We didn't have a car in PS when we visited and she willingly drove us to the second shoot location, center of the desert in front of the mountains. What I loved is she gave us direction which we needed without posing us, and made us laugh and let loose through it all. Now to our wedding, since April 2020, we had to postpone our date 4 times. Our planner knew how important Jasmine was for our date so each postponement before we contacted our venue with a potential date, we contacted Jasmine to ensure she could do it. She was so accommodating, 4 date changes can be annoying but she was encouraging. We lost our frenchie unexpectedly between one of the postponements and Jasmine provided all of these options/examples of how to honor him on the day. On our wedding day, Jasmine took the pressure off instantly. My friends are sarcastic, love to laugh, and we curse a bit and Jasmine let us be ourselves as if no one was watching - but even better she got our banter and fit right in and made us laugh. My friends use some of the quotes she said that day. We got our highlights and it goes without saying the photos were insane, I attached some here (they just speak for themselves). She made suggestions and direction that made our photos epic, again, she let us be us which was incredibly important to us. We CANNOT freaking wait for our full album, and we have friends in California, the best man and his wife, who already reached out to work with her and I know more will reach out too. First, this review is way overdue, and that's because I wanted to spend the time writing it out entirely. I seriously 100% could not be happier with the work Jasmine (Let's Frolic Together) did with our entire wedding weekend. We had her booked for three separate events that turned into four after we faced some of the weather during our wedding. I felt multiple things were great, and it all started with our first meeting. During this meeting, she spent time getting to know us before we even discussed details about what we really wanted. To me, this was probably one of the best initial experiences I had during our entire wedding process, mainly because most people we talked to regarding anything wedding-related simply wanted to get down to business. I saw Jasmine's work and new she was the photographer for me! I hired her to do engagement photos, and to photograph my 2018 wedding elopement. We were introduced to Jasmine by our wedding planner. I immediately fell in love with her portfolio; her photos are so heartfelt, real, intimate and unique...they felt so personal. I scheduled a meeting with her right away. First of all, her studio is so cute...she was so sweet, warm and bubbly and we sat there talking about the wedding and how my husband and I met over tea and these amazing chocolate dipped madeleines (yes, that's important). She had a big screen circulating photos from previous shoots and I found myself getting emotional. Right then and there I knew that she had to be our photographer. She has this wonderful artistic ability to unarm and reveal the sweetest moments between couples...some of the most personal...the ones you wish someone was there to capture, like the way your husband looks at you. And all while creating beautiful art with her photos. Our engagement photos were great. We had many compliments on the photos from our family and friends. The proofs we have seen of our wedding photos are even better...I cannot wait to see the full package from our big day. She captured the magic from that day in her stills and I am so grateful to have had her there to help us remember the special moments..and to remember them so beautifully. Jasmine is just plain cool. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, is a complete pro, AND does great work. I mean, being in front of a camera can be scary! But she let's you be you...and that's so key. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. In addition to that, it was incredibly hot on our wedding day and she was such a trooper in all of the sweatiness that ensued. I've been lucky enough to be in two weddings that were photographed by Let's Frolic Together. The first was for my best friend's wedding and the second was my own. As the MOH for the first wedding I got to see how great Jasmine and her assistant worked and how they helpful they were and proactive they were leading up to the day. When we saw the photos, I was sold. They were just so beautifully done and you can see the story of the day evolve through the photos. After my best friend's wedding and when my (now) husband and I got engaged, I immediately knew I wanted to hire LFT. Photography was the top priority for our wedding. I knew I wouldn't be taking photos throughout the day and wanted our special day captured by someone we trusted. We knew photography was an investment well made for our wedding day. We had no doubt we made the right choice but our engagement session proved that all the more. My husband and I aren't exactly the most comfortable in front of the camera but Jasmine made us feel like we were all just hanging out, sharing laughs and that all showed in our photos. Jasmine listened to us as we shared landmarks of our relationship with her and shared in our journey and captured all of that. My husband isn't the most creative person so imagining that Jasmine would be able to capture us in our natural state was a harder for him but when we received our session photos he saw US. Giggling. Smooching. All of the googly eyes... she got it all. Our wedding day was a busy one. We did the traditional Catholic church wedding followed by cocktail hour and reception. LFT stuck with us the entire day but it never felt like photographers following us around. Having Jasmine with me as I got ready made me feel at ease. I knew our wedding was in the best of hands and she's just SUCH a warm person who LOVES love!... what more can you ask for in a photographer? Jasmine and her team have a fairy-like way of working. You don't always see them capturing the moments... but they sure got them all! Our wedding day felt like a beautiful dream and initially I thought it was just us that thought so. Somehow, LFT captured everything we saw, everything we felt, all of the love and emotions... all of it! I can't say enough about Let's Frolic Together honestly. I can't say enough good things about Jasmine. She captured our personalities perfectly during our "this is how we Wednesday" e-sesh. She helped us celebrate this major moment in our lives and I will treasure the pictures forever.
