Do not hire this photographer..any change to your agreement and she'll literally cancel on you. We booked her for a destination wedding in the Bay Area and agreed to pay a travel fee. We paid a hefty $1,300 deposit and were so excited to work with her. Her style fit ours perfectly and she came recommended by our good friends who used her for their wedding. Earlier this year, I lost my job and had to take a massive pay cut, due to that we changed our wedding venue to a much more affordable location in the Northern California area. We explained this to Berlynn and expressed how much we still wanted to work with her despite the change in location. We even sent her a very detailed email showing her that the change in location wouldn't add too much additional travel time. Instead of trying to work with us by requesting an additional travel fee or something along those lines, she decided to flat out cancel working with us and refused to give us back our deposit. So now we lost $1,300 and had to find a new photographer. Edit to add: based on my calculations, the new location would have taken roughly the same amount of time to get to with a small addition of maybe 30 minutes. Also, flights are more accessible to the new location. A new contract could have been discussed but it wasn't. You chose to cancel on us without even discussing what a new contract would entail. My wedding day was pouring raining the entire day which forced us to take most of our photos inside which I was bummed about but I could not believe how amazing my photos turned out. Berlynn is my best discovery on instagram! My husband and I were looking for someone to do a couple's photo session for us before he left for deployment.
