Melisa is simply amazing. I've had 3 storage units for years, stacked to the ceiling with boxes of stuff all mixed together. I'm talking about boxes that would have clothes, books, memorabilia, all mixed together in any given box. There were some boxes that had things that I didn't even know I had. It was a total disaster. However, as a busy working professional I loved being able to work on my computer in another room while she took care of it, only needing me to come in towards the end to review everything. First let's start with acknowledging how difficult it is to get organized and decluttered. If you're like me, your "stuff" is a weird part of you. That totally useless item has some strange hold on you. You probably don't even know where to begin. At least that's my story. Our house was FULL of things I never questioned the purpose or need to own. Every nook, crook, and cranny was stuffed. The more shocking before and after pics could most likely be our home. I was drowning in the weight of all the clutter. So we've established I was in desperate need of assistance. Here is where Melisa enters my chaos. In 14 sessions she was punctual EVErY time. She came into our home identified a strategy and went to work. She was not pushy nor dismissive of my over attachment to useless JUNK! She was respectful and never just threw things away. She sat down and quickly and efficiently went thru bin after bin of paperwork. She did not rush and toss anything of importance. On the contrary she found several live checks once deposited equaled a little over 3k. She worked WITH me to create systems that made sense to me.
