This is a long overdue review and it's going to be lengthy because this team deserves it. When I got engaged to my now husband I had no idea how hard it was going to be to plan a wedding in the midst of a pandemic. Being from the other side of the globe planning a wedding in the United States was just overwhelming. I had no idea how or when the wedding would happen. I just knew one thing, I wanted to get married to my wonderful husband, have our parents there and celebrate our love. Obviously like any bride to be I started doing an extensive research into wedding planners and all-inclusive packages. All that I was presented with was pages and pages of brochures with no human contact really. I came across Let's Knot at the very end and knew instantly if anyone was going to marry us it had to be them. The website truly represents what they stand for. Within days of reaching out Rich and Shelby arranged for us to meet virtually and in person and iron out some details. I still remember getting off the call me and my husband said to each other, 'Hell yeah these guys are getting us married!' Over the next few weeks Rich, Shelby and the entire team got in touch with us to get to know the tiny little details that even I wouldn't have thought of. They planned EVERY SINGLE thing, the decor, flowers, music, unity ceremony, make up and even our Limo ride. All I did was get dressed on the day of the wedding, enjoy a nice brunch with my mum and dad and drive down to the ceremony. I was stress free knowing exactly what was going to happen and when, because guess what they even gave me an itinerary with all the parts of the ceremony. On the day of the wedding Rich reached out and made sure we were feeling great, the ceremony was amazing and heartfelt. While we clicked couples pictures he even hung out with our parents. My father-in-law said that it seemed as though Rich really knew us as he was officiating our wedding. All the details everything, mind-blowing. The memory of the day is still fresh in my mind. Rich really helped us celebrate our love in the most unique way. If you are someone who is confused, doesn't know where to start and wants something truly special and intimate don't look any further. The experience of getting married by Let's Knot in the most intimate setting is something you don't want to miss out on. My honey and I went on a road trip for a belated birthday trip for him. We knew we were going to Utah, that was it, but also that we had the time to keep the road trip going. We set our sights on Sedona, neither of us had ever been, and then had a thought "what if we eloped in Sedona?!" This was 10pm on a Thursday night and we were checking out the next morning by 9am with, at this point, no concrete destination to head to. I did a quick hashtag search on Instagram of #sedonaelopement and found Let's Knot and Say We Did. Everything looked right but, again, this was crazy spontaneous and entirely unplanned. I emailed them straight away and Rich got back to me within minutes. He and Shelby happened to be going to Sedona for the weekend and had sunset on Saturday free for a ceremony if we wanted to do it. Game on. Everything from that moment was yes upon yes. Cosmic grace and ease abound. All we needed was to confirm we actually had a marriage license (!) which we procured, very simply I might add, in Flagstaff on our drive down to Sedona. It was just the two of us, the two of them, our scruffy muppet of a dog and a backdrop to die for. Shelby picked me a bouquet of wildflowers (definitely something I hadn't thought about), Rich incorporated anecdotes that felt like he'd known us forever (that he'd known us for longer than 36hrs, very least), Shelby played and sang us a song so we could experience a first dance- another detail we definitely would have overlooked. They both intuited exactly what we needed to make the experience perfectly private, perfectly seamless, and perfectly OURS. I wholeheartedly celebrate this company and cannot hype them enough for making our marriage day so intrinsically breezy and FUN. In short(!!): we had green lights all the way from the idea to the altar, with Let's Knot and Say We Did. And our pics, trust me, are bonafide stunners. Stop questioning whether or not you should book a wedding package with Rich & Shelby and just do it! They truly gave us the most magical wedding day and we couldn't be more appreciative. They really made every effort to get to know us as a couple, and made our wedding ceremony so personal and special. They pay attention to detail, and make you feel at ease during the whole wedding planning process. My now husband (Chris) and I had to cancel original wedding plans in Mexico due to Covid-19, and our initial wedding plans in Sedona with Rich & Shelby were put at risk due to the wildfires happening in AZ. They went above and beyond to rearrange our wedding plans, and still figured out a way to give us the wedding of our dreams even though our original wedding spot was not accessible. They are just as excited for you to get married as you are, and they are so accommodating to everyone involved, as well as everyone attending the wedding. Not only was Rich an amazing officiant for the ceremony, but Shelby as the photographer made us feel so comfortable and at ease during the picture taking process. Chris and I have always been terrible at taking photos, and have never been ones to take a lot of photos of ourselves ; Shelby did a great job at making us laugh, allowing us to be in the moment, and getting us to genuinely enjoy the whole photo shoot. Chris and I will forever be grateful to them both, and I could talk forever about all the positives they brought to our wedding day. Our wedding visions could've never came to fruition without them, and for that we are thankful. They come with good vibes, a genuine love for what they do, and allow you as a couple to make some of the most special memories you will ever have!! We received Let's Knot as a recommendation from our planner for our micro wedding and we are so glad that we did. Rich was amazing from initial outreach all the way through wedding day, and we are so appreciative that we were able to have him with us. He truly took the time to get to know us as a couple, and almost every guest commented how personalized and lovely our ceremony was. I was very hesitant to write our own vows, but with a small push in the right direction from Rich it truly made the ceremony that much more special. The only very small detail I will say is that we had requested a microphone or mic to be used so that we could insure all guests could hear very clearly (as well as for video audio), and there may have been a mishap as one was not used during the ceremony itself. We only received one comment that is was hard to hear Rich when he was speaking, but just though it should be noted for future weddings especially to pick up those special moments as Rich is a fantastic speaker and told our story beautifully. This falls into the coordinator/planner lap so not a reflection on Let's Knot, again just mentioning for future weddings as those small details sometimes get missed in the hustle and bustle of the day. On the business side of things they have their outreach and system automation set up perfectly so you are aware of next steps, upcoming meetings, any questions/follow ups, and invoicing. If you are planning the wedding yourself you will be so grateful to have vendors that have taken the time to really set up their business as a business to streamline the process as it can be overwhelming with all the vendor emails and notifications. FIRST - Pick Rich as your officiant! We have nothing but the best things to say about having Rich as our officiant - our wedding truly would not have been the same without him. From the very beginning, Rich made apparent his love for helping facilitate truly authentic wedding. Throughout the entire process, we were challenged to consider the details that would make our ceremony special to us. And any suggestion we had; Rich had a way to make our idea a vision and encouraged us to include any details important to us. Rich spent the time to get to us know us as both individuals and a couple. He has the ability to read people so well and was able to learn about our relationship and articulate it during our ceremony in the most beautiful way. All of guests asked how we knew Rich as it seemed he is a friend/family. We included many religious details as well as a unity ceremony into our ceremony. Rich scripted a ceremony that not only included all the details in a smooth manner but included sentiment and humor at the same time. If having a unique ceremony that will highlight you and your partner's compassion and love for each other - he will accomplish it! We both had our personalized vows, but Rich's words during our ceremony seemingly encompassed our vows to each other (and he hadn't read our vows!). He truly has a way of connecting with others and articulating love and compassion in words. Our ceremony was truly more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed of! We postponed our Fall 2020 wedding to Fall 2021; however, a variety of both lingering and new hurdles brought about the decision to scrap everything and elope instead (someplace gorgeous and in nature). We came across Let's Knot & Say We Did via Instagram during the summer and through their posts, we found a large part of the courage to make the jump on the elopement plan as we were instantly drawn to Rich and Shelby's beaming smiles and obvious joy in doing what they do. From those posts to the introductory video call to email communications and eventually to meeting in person on our elopement day, their energy was infectious! Rich was engaged and always on top of any communications, and he offered a very warm and confidence-inspiring response when my husband reached out looking for reassurance about a unique style for his vows. On our special day, Rich led us through a beautiful, relaxed and customized ceremony (and Shelby sang for us with soft yet lifting vocals) where we felt very comfortable letting tears flow while expressing our love and promises through hand-written vows. Rich and Shelby took care of every little detail - from arranging all the vendors to helping our parents to and from the ceremony site, ensuring we didn't leave anything behind at the site to presenting us with a special surprise, and even filing the marriage license for us. My wife and I had the pleasure of stumbling upon "Let's Knot and Say We Did" through a Google search, and we were more than pleased. Everything, from their work to create a perfect narrative that described our relationship, to the attention to detail in how we imagined our wedding to go. Shelby and Rich have perfected their process to truly preserve the meaning of a wedding. Administratively, they accomplished everything they said they would with precision; they contacted and arranged the floral work, they hired the musician, and settled all discussions pertaining to venue (we were lucky enough to have our wedding during the summertime, where they were willing to travel to us - Philadelphia). However, I was most impressed with Shelby and Rich during our "off the record" interactions. Because it was their first time visiting Philly, my wife and I treated them to cheesesteaks, and we chatted logistics, finalized details, etc. However, despite gabbing about work, there were subtle moments where they shared a glance, or Shelby laughed a school girl giggle, or Rich cheese a romanticist's smile. They were, for lack of better words, so honest in their love for each other. I mean, 5 stars doesn't even do them justice. This was by far the best decision I have ever made in my life. We were slightly nervous about eloping and missing out on a traditional wedding. Absolute nonsense. Rich & Shelby organized the single most intimate, stress free, beautiful, fun, exhilarating experience my husband and I have ever experienced. Every detail was thought of. The best part was we didn't have to do any of it!! We just got to show up. Things I've heard about traditional weddings; "it was a blur, I don't remember any of it." "There was so much family drama." "We barely got alone time because we were visiting with so many people" "I was so nervous I blacked out". The list goes on. We left this expierence with an even deeper love for each other than I ever knew possible. It truly felt like the whole day was made for us. Even the weather. Rich and Shelby are absolute angels and I wish everyone could expierence their presence. I wish words could make the reader understand the level of happiness and emotion Rich & Shelby can pull out of a 6 hour experience. 10/10 would recommend. read more

My wedding day was absolute perfection. Rich and Shelby are such sweet souls that light up any room they enter. They made sure our wedding was exactly how we envisioned it and more. They find the florist, hair and makeup, and live music for your big day which takes SO much stress away from having to find them yourself. Rich and Shelby were incredible. What a fantastic team! We got so many compliments about our ceremony, the sneak peek photos (more to come), and the snazzy jacket Rich wore. It was such a personalized experience that our guests thought we had known Rich and Shelby for a good while, but we had only video conferenced a couple times. Shelby's photography skills are UNMATCHED and Rich inspires her with new and fun ideas throughout the session. They are so good at what they do and their love and enjoyment of their profession and one another is contagious. They bring forth natural joy and happiness; you can see it in photos. Rich was referred to me by a mutual friend and I couldn't be happier that he was. During our ceremony Rich spoke a lot about all the details he had come to learn about us, and after the ceremony family and friends remarked about how lovely and personal the ceremony was.
