Traquair House in the Borderlands was a definite highlight. They even have a hedge maze out back! All that aside, Ginger knocked it out of the park. She put together a trip that allowed both of us to see some bucket list places in the region. There was never an issue of a lack of transportation, or a hotel failing to recognize our booking. We spent nearly three weeks trekking across the UK and everything was right on schedule. We did miss a ferry on the way to the Isle of Skye, but that was our fault. The three hour detour was worth it though. Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries you'll ever see. I could go on all day, but the point I'm trying to make is that Ginger put together a dream vacation of a lifetime. So many memories and moments that we'll never forget. I contacted an agent to help with my families three week trip to Europe. The agent was kind,…read morefriendly and knowledgeable so I was really excited to have her plan our trip. I followed up 1 week after the call and she let me know she would have something to me in a week. This was February 10th and the last I have heard since. Since February 10th, I have been unable to get a response from her or the company about the travel plan. I sent multiple kind emails asking for a timeline, left voicemails and spoke to the person who answered the main phone pleading for someone to call me back. Against my better judgement, I still stuck with it thinking they were helping me. A full month later, I have still not received an ounce of communication and we are having to move onto a different company. It is putting our family in a bad situation and now is a month of time wasted. I have no idea why this agent "ghosted me" and is refusing the event reply to an email or call me back. A simple, "I am still working on it" or "it turns out I don't have the bandwidth to handle your request" email would have sufficed, however I can't event get that from her or the company. It is really disappointing and very unprofessional. This is my first experience with a travel agent in over 20 years and it was disappointing to say the least. I'd caution you on using Willamette International Travel if this is the way they feel the need to treat their customers. I can't imagine this happening if a problem with a flight or hotel reservation would come up, you would be on your own to figure it out.

We have done training and know the ins and outs of the destination you are wanting to travel to We have access to literally thousands of other travel agents, so if we are not familiar with a property we can ask for the pros and cons of that property. Has there been any stealing from a guest room? Any bedbug issues? Is the neighborhood decent? etc. We receive the specials for places like Disney and cruises before those specials are made public. We can help you with purchasing the right insurance We make sure that you have all of the appropriate documents Occasionally, certain company's allow us to give out perks. We watch for sales after you book, and most of the time are able to apply that sale to your booking. I personally print out all of your documents so that you don't have to. If you have any problems on your trip, you just have to call me. After you book, I will send you weekly information about your destination. Again, If you are a planner and researcher, using a travel agent doesn't always get you BETTER rates. You are just already paying that commission out anyways, so why not use a professional travel planner. Then, if any problems arise, you just call me.
