My partner's birthdate year wasn't corrected which irritated him and though they reasons quickly and book the best that they can this trip experience left a really bad taste in my mouth to which I'll likely not use them again. This was just my experience. I think a phone call to walk through the final itinerary would have helped. A few things hadn't been made clear to me in the end. Sometimes things just aren't a good fit, and in this case I think this agency isn't a good fit for me personally.

You aren't alone to navigate this crazy world of airline travel...she is your advocate and your friend! I also used her to book my personal adoption travel and she was amazing to handle that and all the crazy of that quick trip. She's gotten me and my colleagues out of some spectacular jams and it was so nice to have an actual travel agent to get you "unstuck" in whatever city you're currently in! She's become a friend! In my new job I'll be "taking her with me" to help others on adoption and personal travel plans. She's amazing!!

Life these days is at warp speed and this cruise is the perfect way to slow things down!!!…read more This beautiful, old ship is something to truly check out! Rose is her name and Captain Shane was not disappointing! Not only was he our Captain, oh Captain, he was extremely informative (educating us on safety protocol) open for questions, and pictures at the helm!We couldn't have asked for a more personable & entertaining Captain! In fact, I'd pay to see him in a comedy club! The ship itself holds 49 passengers and its big enough to move around and not feel like sardines, all packed in shoulder to shoulder. It has 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen with salon and I believe it's 3 levels. The only warning that I have is the dock is quite steep on your way to the ship and what goes down must come up, so it's not the easiest return to the parking lot but it's doable. I.e., I have had both knees replaced and have chronic back pain and I made it. Wear good shoes. We were on the river right at 6:30 and Captain Shane immediately put the mainsail up. I felt like I was back East, Westport Harbor, Mass. in 1976! My buddies and I were out on little skiffs when the Tall Ships started heading home after participating in the 1976 Bi Centennial celebrations They were absolutely majestic and a sight that I will remember forever! I want to say to both locals and visitors that the, Schooner Rose, is a special gift to everyone that enjoys gorgeous sunsets, our beautiful river and that lazy kind of feeling you get sailing! You will forget, even for an hour and a half, your problems, the worlds problems and the uncertainties that come with it all! BEST prescription ever!! Thanks, Captain Shane, and crew, for a memorable experience!

It was a beautiful evening on the Columbia River with ample room to move around the ship and 3 decks. We sat on the couch on the forward part of the ship and it was like being in our living room but with an amazing view. Captain Shane even allowed me to captain the ship and put on his captain's hat for a bit and his first mate showed me how to use the rudder control and compass and some basic right of way rules. I had a blast. Truly a one of a kind experience. They offered snacks as well and at the end of the tour, we sat on the ship docked with our friends and watched the sun fully set, talked with Captain Shane, and I even got a tour of the engine room. Hands down the best boat cruise in Portland. You can even bring your own drinks and food and we had a little picnic onboard. Note that in the future, they will AirBnB out the ship which would be an awesome stay.

My friends and decided to visit Portland for the weekend. For some, it was their first time there,…read moreso I wanted to take them around to see the city, eat donuts, and drink beer. Since we had multiple stops and there were 15 of us including 3 toddlers, it would have been a huge hassle to call so many Ubers/Lyfts. Not to mention all the heavy car seats that we would have had to carry with us to each location. My solution: renting a private bus! I reached out to multiple shuttle companies, but Shanghai really stood out to me. Dusty responded almost immediately and was very helpful in providing details about their pricing and buses. While my main goal was really just to safely and efficiently get my group to the various spots, it was a plus that Shanghai's bus also included a karaoke machine. Once we decided on the terms and details, Dusty sent over a contract within the next few days. The morning of our ride, Dusty texted to let me know our bus was on the way. Our driver, Ron, arrived a few minutes early, so by our reservation start time, we were all set to go. He was professional, kind and drove cautiously. As it was raining, I appreciated that he dropped us off as close as he safely could at each location, and then picked us back up when we were ready to continue to the next spot. The cooler was also stocked with ice, as promised. We ended up riding the Solid Gold bus, which is literally a converted school bus. I must admit this was very different from our typical sprinter party bus experience. For one, I had never ridden a party bus with kids before, and blasting "Wheels On The Bus" instead of dance music was such a different vibe. Lol! The bus was unique and had a vintage feel -- very Portland. Given our situation, I actually preferred this over the dark, tinted windows of the sprinters we are used to. The Solid Gold allowed us to see the city during our rides. We got a lot of stares every time we pulled up to a donut shop or brewery, but it was a fun experience. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids who now point out every bus that passes by on the street and say they want to go back to the party bus!

Probably because our guide, Christopher, was AMAZING! I cannot rave about him enough! He took us around Portland and showed us the different areas. His energy and personality was so great, he really made the tour as much fun as possible. He even let us have a pit stop to Blue Star Donuts, which was a nice little break! The Segways were super easy to use and Christopher was a great teacher and made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. I was very nervous at first but after a couple of turns I felt like a pro! (Kind of, I may have let out mini screams coming off of the sidewalks lol). We had a fairly small group, there was about 7 of us. I highly recommend this excursion and if you can book with Christopher, you won't regret it!!! Pro tip: PLEASE TIP YOUR TOUR GUIDE!!!! Bring some cash and make it rain! Then to the park blocks, up towards JenWeld park, through the Pearl and China town then old town, all while giving you historical information about the city. I was nervous for the first 5 minutes of waiting for my riders lesson, but was comfortable the second I stepped onto my "Mall Cop" mobile. 13 mph seems slow, until you're whipping around on city streets at that pace. Once you get going though, you get a total feel of Badassness. If there is such a thing...on a Segway. I would recommend the Portland Segway tour to anyone - in the summertime - with a Bucket List.
