So unfortunately, I had to return the entire purchase of close to $200 and lose the possibility of having those items because they were some of the last items on the shelves when I picked them out. I was willing to return all the products and buy more items on top of the purchase made in the previous day, but they would not allow me to purchase any of the items that I was returning in the same stopping trip. Going forward, I will be going directly to the vendor and not buying from Ulta anymore. The vendor has more discount and products to choose from. I read in one of the reviews on here that the cashiers were rude, and I can verify that that is correct. This store needs to have a regional manager visit it without announcing that they are coming so that they can see what is happening at this store. THEN SHE KEPT MY COUPON!!! I came in with long, thick hair and clearly explained that I wanted to maintain my length with long, blended layers, along with a trim to my bangs and front pieces. I specifically requested that the length be kept around mid-back. However, the result was significantly shorter than discussed--ending just past my shoulders--and the layering was not blended. Instead of a seamless transition, there were very visible separations between layers, which made the haircut look uneven and choppy. A couple of days later, I returned to give the stylist an opportunity to correct the issue. I appreciated her willingness to try and fix it, and she seemed confident in doing so. However, despite the effort, the haircut still lacked proper blending and did not achieve the intended look. I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience, especially for those with thick hair that requires careful layering and blending techniques. While the service itself was polite, the overall result did not reflect the level of skill or attention to detail I was hoping for. I advise you make an appointment and plan to spend a while here, it is totally worth it. Most places are quick in their treatments so they can get the next customer in, even spa treatments can be rushed and a smell of nail polish remover and cloying scents permeate the air. The atmosphere a bit shadowed by the clutter of several chairs crammed together to maximize the number of clients at a time as well as the grunginess from the large number of people going in and out of the salons. Not this place! Miranda's has a small staff and they'll do everything they can so you are able to relax and be pampered. The shop is spotless and plenty of space is given between the seats for those seeking a haircut or receiving a Pedicure. The design and layout of the store is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and maximizes comfort. Once here, this is where that "spend a while here" plays into effect. They take their time so the treatment is done right and as painlessly as possible. No rushing to squeeze in more customers for more money. Country music plays in the background, just loud enough to be heard and soft enough to not be a barrage to the senses. During your treatment, they'll offer refreshments such as water, soda, or even something for a more sophisticated palette. Everything here is about keeping you, the customer, relaxed and pampered for your visit. Again, I'm severely tempted to leave a disastrous review for my own selfishness, but the staff and this little gem in the desert should be shared and this review posted.
