STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I was referred to this place by…read moremy Nurse Practioner in Danville ---a small town---for an abdominal aneurysm ad was assigned to a DR. VOSKRESENSKY I cannot describe the doctor as anything but a sadist. I saw him once for a consult. I saw him again when I was being prepped for surgery. He stood in the doorway, with a smirk on his face as I cried (I wasn't told I'd have general anesthesia until I was already shaved and in a nightgown) as they stuck 4 IV ports, including an arterial, and sneered, "Well, I told you this might happen, remember?" I wasn't emotionally prepared for this and was terrified. He didn't make "rounds" or call to check on me. No call. Not once has he asked how I'm doing, feeling, having problems, etc. I was discharged by a woman who told me I'd never see her at the office as she only did discharging rounds. She went to the computer, typed in information, said she was giving a me a script for hydrocodone, and that if there was leakage of the mesh, it wouldn't matter because I'd probably not outlive the problem and they wouldn't do anything about it anyway. When "scheduling" called me two weeks later for a follow up scan, I said I want to do it in Danville (1 1/2 away) and she said it was inconvenient for them ---that she (gasp!) would have to make a phone call. I reminded her the 1st scan I had was done in Danville. She handed me over to the the Director MS. MESA QUANDRY, who said she'd talk to "scheduling." I also told her there was no need for me to see Dr. "V" again, as he could read the test results and call me if there was a problem, saving me a trip post-surgery. Then Dr. "V" called me, not to check on me, but to berate me! He also referenced a doctor I had seen at UK med center, and that I didn't like him either. I told him that Dr. Lee had left UK and taken a job elsewhere. (I have the letter from UK telling me that and asking me if I wanted to see another doctor there, but, Dr. "V" didn't know that, or if he did, tried to paint my concerns as 'not liking him.') He then demanded that I go to their service provider for an ultrasound the morning before I kept my appointment with him. ( I was asked to rate Dr. Lee, confidentially, and I said he seemed a little timid about doing a surgery, and that was over three years ago!) DO NOT BELIEVE MEDICAL FACILITIES WHEN THEY SAY YOUR OPINION IS KEPT CONFIDENTIAL --IT'S A LIE. IT GOES INTO YOUR MEDICAL RECORD ---OBVIOUSLY. I will never speak to this man again. He's a sadist. Steer clear of him and his employer. And the Director said she'd call me ---she never did. Now they want me to sign up for their health portal. In a pig's eye! Not ever dealing with these cruel incompetents.
