We've been going to level auto since they were located in the Kennedy and Danforth location. I'm not too sure if they've changed mechanics, but their service has gone down hill. I went in for an alignment and the steering wheel was off centre. When I went back to tell them about the issue (granted it was more than 24hrs) they told us that they couldn't do anything, that we would need to pay again to realign (despite telling us to come in after we called them about the issue). Our most recent interaction was subpar making it difficult to consider this place further. Honestly, the owner is a nice person, but apart from that the service is not what it used to be. read more

Sadly after spending $1000 @ Level Auto I discovered that 4 out of 5 wheel lug nuts were about to fall off, while driving on the QEW. The vibration became worse and worse to the point where I had to pull over on the shoulder, and later onto a side road where I discovered the problem on the front left. When I went back to the shop, the owner blamed faulty lug nuts. They confirmed via text that they saw that the lug nuts were "really corroded", yet they failed to inform me before leaving the shop the first time. Only after my brush with death did they notify me that the lug nuts were "really corroded". Our discussion at the shop this morning led to an invitation by the owner to go outside and fight, even after I said we could discuss this "civilly". The conversation escalated whereupon I was physically manhandled and forced out the door by Mark the owner and two of his associates, whereupon I called the police. The owner behaved like an uncivilized thug, I won't be going back. Btw, my lug nuts have not come loose since I tightened them on the side of the road with a socket wrench, I check them every day with a tire iron. I had a four wheel alignment done here at Level Auto and they did a perfect job. I owned many cars ranging from coupes, sedans, convertibles, track cars and SUV's for both daily driving and performance pleasure rides and it is often not so easy to find shops with a 3D imaging four wheel alignment machine. They have one of the nicest waiting areas for a family owned business, HDTV and refreshments at the front desk, which has a glass window you can look through at your car. I hear Mark has 10 years experience at Toyota/Lexus dealership, when I took my RX330, he asked me how many mileage was on the car and recommended some maintenance that's due in the next 30,000km which was nice. The price is fair (more on the cheap side), I recommend this place. They take reservations. read more

I have a Tesla Model S and the steering was shimmying at highway speeds. I wondered if it might need an alignment. Even in the first telephone call to Level Auto they told me it might just need a wheel balancing, not an alignment. I called near closing time but they were able to book me in the next day. When I got there the staff was friendly and helpful. They again told me they would check the wheel balance and alignment before just charging me to "fix" it. They found the tires were wildly unbalanced, but the alignment was fine and only did the work that needed to be done, cutting my bill in half of what they could have charged me if they had been less honest. They do lowered cars and are very familiar with it. Good service at a great price. Gave me a print out of my alignment. Clean shop and had windows to view the work. What I was quoted is what I paid. I will go again when I'm due. read more

Taken my car to them twice. The first time was for emissions which was fine an all. No complaints there. However, on my second visit I went in to diagnose an air conditioning issue. They claimed the problem was low on freon and just topped it off. They called me that the car was ready for pickup only to wait around for nearly an hour while they were having lunch. No apologies or anything. I was finally able to get my car and go only to discover the problem wasn't even rectified during the drive home!!! I haven't returned since as I've found a place that knows what they were doing and treat customer with more professionalism. read more

These guys are young, knowledgeable, have a clean shop, and did a great job on my 4 wheel alignment. They are honest and the prices are fair. Would take car in regularly for oil changes and were reasonable. One day had a problem with brakes and took it back. Price was way above the average cost I had paid previously but brakes were noisy after they were fixed. When I complained was asked to bring car back to check again, only I would have to pay for inspection. Beyond simple tasks like changing oil or wipers these guys do not seem to know what they're doing. read more
