I explain everything to the owner of auto lab I show the paper which Honda diagnose the problem which was the fuel injector has to change, but the owner told me it's not fuel injector with confidence !!!I left my car so they can check. What's the problem actually they keep my car for five days not calling me back. I called them and they told me we have to fix the couple stuff the bill me for $4200. I didn't have any choice. I already miss days of work They kept my car one week finally they call me to pick up the car , after a month I got the same problem All the signs was on again. I took my car back to them they said it's electrical problem they charge me for $600 again they kept my a week, I pick up my car after a week. Start driving after three weeks all the sign turn on again. Took my car to them. he told me we will check again and let you know three days no calls no update. I called them. They told me you have to change the fuel injector and oxygen sensor. I told the owner when I bring my car first time I told you this is the problem now I end up with the same problem. So far I pay $5200 and they were asking me for 4000 dollar on top. to change the fuel injector I was about to cry. I took my car came home. I can't pay $9200 in three months I ask them to give me the invoice what parts you change they told me we will send it by email. so I can take my car to the mechanic and explain what part we change but I didn't receive any email from them. Finally the new mechanic told me your engine is done. You have to put a new engine because from the start you had problem with fuel injector, and the gasket leak. To your engine so we have to put a new engine because the diagnose wrong and took $5200 and ruin the engine in my car please please don't go to this place!! owner is the meanest person he is not listening to you what you're saying.

Had the front/rear rotors & pads done on my 2009 Odyssey back in July 2022 for approx $700. Ivan…read moresaid he used Akebono coated parts which are suppose to be a premium product that I've used in my other vehicle with excellent results. The following spring, with only 10k km on these rotors/pads, I started to notice brake performance decline with it not really biting and needing to apply a lot more pedal pressure to stop properly. Brought it back for Ivan to inspect. He said rotors had a lot of rust, however, they were all suppose to be coated which greatly increases the time for rust to form. So, for rust form so quickly and so severe to affect performance in just 8 months and with only 10K Km since install....that just doesn't add up and Ivan wasn't able or willing to offer anything (possible defective warranty etc) other than to resurface them for an extra $100-200. That really didn't make any difference. So, I ended up going back to my regular guru who replaced all the pads with Power Stop shortly after. Fixed it and it was 100% better. Not sure if the issue was with the parts, the installer or a bit of both. Things just didn't make much sense to me and Ivan wasn't really taking any initiative or making any effort help me other than charging extra to hopefully remedy my issues. Lesson learned...Will keep to my guru from now on.

Up until yesterday before bringing my car into Midas ONLY for the safety test it was running smooth and I was aware of a weak battery which I planned to have it replaced with my buddy the mechanic. As I was waiting Midas for my car they told me that I had to change the battery and go on about the alternator. I told I'm here for a safety test and was not looking to do anything else. They keep pushing a sales on me and I kept telling them no. There was a lady that came in before me looking to get an oil change and they kept pushing her to get synthetic oil, which cost twice as much and unnecessary. She just wanted to get the regular oil change. I felt bad and kind of wanted to say something, but didn't want to make a scene. So I get my car back after refusing on several occasions to their displeasure. The moment I drove out on the way to my buddy the mechanics shop, about 10-15 mins my car starts acting erratic. All the warning lights comes on at once. My car starts shaking while it's going into gear. Eventually I would not even go pass 10km/h, this was all happening during rush hour on a busy street, it was pretty scary. I had pull my car into a parking lot and then it just completely died. I can't start it. I called Midas back and they pretty much were like " well I told you so and don't blame it on us" kind of attitude. I told them that I've been driving this car for some time and the moment I bring it to your location my car died. It just seem very suspicious since they were so aggressive about me fixing things with them. My car is currently at my friends shop and I'm not sure exactly how much it's going to cost me to fix it now. I had to pay to get it tolled. My car is a 2012 mdx, with only 113000km on it. Relative low km. Been driving smooth and no issue other then regular wear and tear, minor things. I'm just sharing my honest experiences about these guys. I basically do not trust them and I'd never go to another Midas again! It seems like they have this very aggressive, untrustworthy sales approach there, beware if you choose to go to this location, it becomes very costly! Ps I'd give them zero stars, but that's not an option so I have to bite my tongue and give them one fake star.

Went to Carcones (visited 3-4 times before on various other car problems and knew nothing of the sort could be wrong since they saw it last) and only one of the ten things on the list needed to be done under $600. Took me to the car, pointed out the problem (happened over the winter-5month period). At other times I've visited they tell me what needs to be done and what can wait. They are considerate and understanding that your time is valuable and finances are tight. If your complaining about how much time it takes any mechanic to fix your car know they want to make it right and safe. Your car is like a heart surgery patient - so don't blow a gasket unless you want to drive in a casket! Carcones is a family business and not a corporate entity like a dealership! Consider parts, weather and how busy it is on certain days or month or time of the year. They have car service too and happy to help! I was initially referred to by a coworker who's father has been using them for over 15 yrs. Lisa at the front desk knows her stuff and if she doesn't she gets a second opinion! She even wrote a letter for me discounting what CTire claimed what was wrong with my car and what they found so I can write a complaint about CT! What shop does that??? The auto shop does not take appointment for tire change and is on a first come first serve basis, so I walked in like all other people. When I said I was there for winter tire change, the person (I later found out his name was Joe) at the front desk said "So does the rest of Richmond Hill". He later said the wait would be 2 hrs and I said I would wait. When it was time to pay, I asked if there was a discount if I paid cash. His snarky response: "I should be charging you more for fitting you in". You did not have to fit me in. I could go elsewhere, on a different day. Both comments were uncalled for and very rude. I noticed that his attitude towards others (men) in the shop was different.
