I was lane splitting when a car did an abrupt lane change not using her blinker. My bike was totalled and I had to have surgery on my shoulder. On March 27, 2015, I had the unfortunate occasion, to be involved in a T-bone motorcycle accident. The driver of the car, who was unlicensed, pulled in front of me from and intersecting road, controlled by a stop sign. I suppose each to one's own from the previous reviewer (Jonathan W.). Yes, I signed a contract. Yes, I had to obligate a portion (basically 1/3) of my settlement to the team. However, I expected nothing less from any attorney/law group and was not one bit surprised. Having dealt with an attorney in the past, I found what they were asking for to be reasonable. They don't even take a portion of your property reimbursement (totaled bike in my case), just the actual settlement. Additionally, I was able to get a hold of them within 1-2 business days whenever I called to have all my questions answered, if not immediately. My specific case was pretty hairy in that the person that hit me had questionable insurance that was very difficult to contact and there were some unclear trails of ownership for his vehicle. None-the-less, the Law Tigers definitely came through for me. To make matters better, they're helping me tie up loose ends that had to do with the incident months after the settlement was reached. I fully believe that if I had not utilized a lawyer for my case, I would have been up sh!t creek without a paddle. The Law Tigers are my new best friends! As a 30-year rider, I'm familiar with the law's attitude and indifference to us during a crash investigation. Unfortunately, I wasn't on my Maxim, but riding a tiny Vespa when I was forced to ditch to avoid being run over by a texting kid in his Dad's sports car. When doing a legal case, you have to be in for the long haul. Whenever there is a medical claim, it gets complicated and is not going to be resolved in a couple months. My case was handled by Michelle Hall. She was excellent and was able to make the best out of a bad situation.
