The four outlet shopping centers are located within walking distance of each other, so you can park once and shop all day. Yes, half of the stores are across the busy road so you can road is diving this outlet in two parts. It is located just off Exit 20 of the Adirondack Northway (I-87) and only two miles south of Lake George Village. Each center has public restrooms, an ATM machine, and vending machines filled with cold drinks. Tip: don't be confused, While this entire half-mile strip is referred to as "The Outlets", there are currently four distinct centers: Adirondack Outlet Mall, French Mountain Commons, Log Jam Outlet Center and The Outlets at Lake George East and West. Spend your day perusing the miles of aisles at this massive shopping complex on State Route 9 in Lake George.

For the most part, the stores are clean, well-kept, and feature a good selection. Some of the sales were excellent and we couldn't pass them up. The traffic getting in and out can be challenging, and we sat in said traffic for about a half mile given that the road is single lane in each direction and the stores get crowded. I have been to other Eddie Bauer locations and yesterday was the first time I've ever been to this one in Lake George. I usually leave other EB stores without anything - simply because the stuff doesn't quite fit me well. BUT...I found an awesome pair of fleece lined jeans that I was able purchase as a gift for someone - and they fit perfectly. YAY! It was pretty busy and there was a long line to check out, but I'll definitely try this location again when I need to either buy another gift or treat myself to something new.

The men's clearance rack is decent, but nowhere near the size of the women's rack unfortunately. The 50% applied to clearance items as well both times, and you can really find some large markdowns. Keep an eye out throughout the store, as I've sometimes found random items on clearance mixed in with other items. Overall the store is pretty clean and well organized, and has some decent music playing in the background. One of my favorite stores at this outlet mall!

I've gotten everything from t shirts, to dress pants and shirts. Swimsuits, sweaters, socks, robes and other accessories all make the most out of a moderately sized store. Sometimes I wish they had more sweater options, have never been able to find a style that I love there, but always get everything else I need. Service is attentive, maybe even too attentive. I prefer to shop quietly by myself. But there is always someone around to show you where stuff is or unlock the dressing rooms for you. Their post sale service is also super intense. I gave them my e-mail address in a moment of stupidity and they are one of those companies that assume their customers want an e-mail from them every single day, even though I only shop here 3-4 times a year. Had to unsubscribe there, does anyone actually want 5-10 emails a week from any business? At least they give some pretty good discount coupons, which is good, because it is a pricey place to shop. At least the clothes are good quality though, they have always had a long life for me and no complaints there.
